How many of you own or have owned a adventure bike of some sort? I've added Yamaha Tenere XT660Z onto the list, no sure if its a good idea...

187cm tall, getting test rides with A2 license is impossible for most bikes I like due to the stupid restriction laws... I'll most likely end up with a naked or a sport-tourer... :(

Ahh you'll be fine then, that's about 6ft 2in, an inch shorter than me. I can flat foot pretty much anything.

I'm around 6ft1 (6.13517 when you calculate it :p) so a bit shorter than you :p
I've sat on SV650 once again when I was in Poland, it was too icy to try it out. But, I didn't feel cramped... although the position did feel a little sporty.

If you're looking into adventure type bikes, check out the F 650/700/800 GS bikes, and the V-strom, perhaps tiger 800.

I've been on a friends f800gs and that felt perfect (I'm 6'2") - so am leaning towards that style of bike. Bikes made for shorter people cramp my legs.
Yeah, that's the problem. Although some bikes are pretty big, the MV Augusta F4 is big compared to jap supersport bikes. :p

I sat on an SV650 when I was looking for my first big bike, and it felt cramped in the legs, my knees were on top of the tank cut outs :p I think I must have the extra couple of inches in my legs :D I'm 6ft 3in or 4in, depending on the day so some bikes (like the SV and MT07) just feel a little small for me.

You're saying this, but you ride a little cb400 hehe :p :D Surely that's smaller than the SV?

What do you people think of a cover like THIS? I've a oxford stormex cover, but it was a bit of a pain putting it on and off... especially when it was all wet from the rain!

I'm thinking of going to view this, https://www.gumtree.com/p/yamaha-motorbikes/yamaha-mt07/1152175908 bike. But it doesn't look like it was cared for, its all dirty... the owner didn't even care to wash it and those foothball shoes suggest a chav owner. :(

Another bike, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-Yamaha-MT-07-immaculate-Yamaha-warranty-not-MT-09-/121885422757 this looks better. Not the colour I want though, hmm... I'm looking at MT-07, but if a fully faired black or grey SV650 pops up I'll buy it, if not than MT07 will be the next bike. :) The decision has been made.

Seems expensive for second hand, makes more sense to pay the extra and get a brand new one with no miles on it.

Yeah, I just saw the red one, its without ABS... Idk why these are so expensive, probably because they go under A2. For the money they're asking for MT-07 you can get MT-09! :(

What were those websites with cheap motorcycle clothing? I remember those shops are based abroad, now since I'm not in a rush. It would be nice to save a bit of money on new kit. :)

motocard are good. Got my Rizomas from them :D

Delivery can be slower than if you ordered over here of course, but they have free delivery over £50 I think it is plus I think they had to order my mirrors in, so might be quicker normally.

Another vote for Motocard - I get most of my stuff from them.

Cheers, I've ordered from motoin previously? The package hasn't been shipped for over 2 weeks, I requested a refund... I can understand 7-10 days, but over that without notifying the buyer is just ridiculous lol...

BTW Sorted the mount a little, it looks a lot better now. I changed the long thumb screws for M5 20mm flat head, nothing pointing out now. :D

Does CNC do a copy of Rizoma Circuit 744?
