Had this from my friend..... What do you guys think?

CX12 . Will have brand new MOT, has heated grips, upgraded GPR exhaust and KTM alarm. He will take photos tonight and check the mileage.

£4500 with standard exhaust and no alarm or £5000 with the upgraded exhaust and alarm.

If youre interested in having a look when you see the pics I’ll give you his number.

If someone offers him £5000 for that privately then fair play to him.

Be careful if passing through Switzerland as they are illegal here without special filming permission and you will get the device confiscated.

They're big on personal privacy here and everyone seems to report loud buzzing things in the sky to the police.

Thanks for that. I think we'll be limiting ourselves to the more remote places, so we'll take a chance.

It is a DJI Mavic Pro - I chose it because it is so portable. It can follow and track you but it has limitations, so everything in the video was just shot manually. There are some third party apps that can follow preset waypoints. Should be an absolute hoot in the Alps later this year :)

That drone looks amazing. I'm not supposed to be making big purchases at this point, but this is really tempting.

How loud is it? It mentions using 'tripod mode' which would actually be really handy for me when making gadget/phone videos if I can literally have it hover in my room and record things, like a camera on a tripod.

I wouldn't use it for that indoors tbh. It is loud - you need a distance of 50+ metres before you don't really notice it. Tripod mode is super stable though, but it moves very slowly.

Balls... my rear will need changing soon, my front needs changing ASAP. I'm thinking of trying different set of tyres, any ideas? Thinking Rosso III's

You got angel GT's at the moment correct? If i wanted some a little more sporty but still good in the wet it'd be Rosso III's or Metzler M7RR's.
Yeah, Angel GT's on at the moment. The front survived 2 rears, I'm impressed lol, I did do 2 rolling burnouts on this GT. Got a bit too excited when we had the few days that felt like summer. :D :p

I keep having the fantasy of having a nice long motorcycle journey, maybe camp or stay at a hotel see some sights on stunning twisty roads. This is the dream that seems to be sold to all motorcyclists but after just coming back from a quick 30 minute journey on the M25 I don't think that's realistic on my naked NC700s, god at a sustained 65 mph+ it is just horrifying.
