I'm already planning on leaving a bit earlier to stop off on my way to work and empty them out of chain cleaner and wax :D

I use elbow grease on lower part of the bike, spray it on, leave it for a bit and jet wash it off. Than the top, I clean with waterless, it works pretty well tbh and not much effort needs to be put into washing the bike. I'm lazy... :p

Mine lasted from Saturday afternoon until this morning before it was caked in muck again, that's a record of some sort.

I think I washed my bike last autumn.... Its filthy within 2 days of commuting with this bipolar weather.

My winter hack vfr 750 has been washed 2 times this winter also has a tour scott olier only 2 refills no need for chain cleaning it's like owning a c70 :D love it.

12 will becoming out soon bless her :)

Started my job on Tuesday and it's already filthy. Don't like a minging looking bike, however fs365 working a treat on forks, engine casing and around the shock.

Asked earlier, anybody got opinions on the ferodo pads? Brilliant car pads, no idea about bikes, they seem to be good by a few people have said on Google.

Was reminded how awesome my Tuono is on the way home tonight (been commuting on it as the CB400 needs it's sprocket carrier bearing replacing), had a small window of oppurtunity to make an overtake with oncoming traffic and a bend ahead, hammer down and past the car in a couple of seconds :D room to spare :D

God I love the torque :D

I still need to plan overtakes at higher speeds, above certain speed the SV is sloooooooow. Now, I know what my mates meant by "its a bigger 125". :p

Depends really....isnt yours restricted? When it isnt...drop a tooth of the front sprocket. 100-110 achieved quite happily. But yes in comparison to the CBR it's slower....but I'm glad I learnt some lessons the on SV as the CBR would have had me making those mistakes at bigger speeds

Mines in the garage for its MOT but it needs a new horn. Whilst in they're rebuilding the rear calliper and doing the chain and sprockets. Cost me quiet a bit this bike recently! Should be it for a while, joys of an old bike and 40miles a day.

That's why I want to sell my cb400, it's getting to that mileage and age where stuff always needs a little attention. I've had the bike for just over 2 years and I've done about 25k miles on it in in that time.

Nice little lunch break:
