Priced my old bike at £950, a little high but gives me some room to move.

First message is saying they'll offer me £600 as they need to spend £3-400 getting it serviced  I want to know where this guy services his 125's because I'm in the wrong business!

It's made even funnier by the fact the advert has a whole list of bits replaced less than 200 miles before it was put into storage which includes all the service bits plus clutch cable/chain and sprockets/rear brake shoes/fully rebuilt front caliper and new pads plus it had an oil change last week before it's MOT.

I can see this may be more ball ache than I hoped...

Edit: he's now upped his offer to £650 and seems very pushy about getting my address even though I've told him I won't be budging on price at this time. Smells dodgy as a scooter with no plate and a balaclava wearing rider.

whats the bike and how competent was the guy who did the brakes work?

the commute to work is literaly 10-15 mins,.

and is a mix of country lane, dual carrigeway and town 30mph zone.

You guys rate evotech gear?

What are their levers like?

I've ordered a tail tidy and I'm about to order a rad guard, rear blanking plates for pegs and want some new levers.

Well tried to get on my bike today but the knee still won't bend enough for my foot to sit on the peg. Looks like another couple of weeks before I can get back on :(

So, one week on and it is still here. No idea how though, based on a slightly better picture. Tethering is, it appears, optional!
