Got a tad wet on the way in this morning :p my waterproof trousers are in need or replacing.

Gusts and absolutely pouring down with surface water on the A1.

I still love motorcycling!

Edit: Little bit ****** off that i just properly cleaned my bike on Saturday though...

I saw someone on a HP4 today, felt sorry for him, the viability was poor and there where stupid amounts of surface water.

But mmmm HP4.

@tom_e and @TallPaul_S, how was your ride in this morning? :o

I was at my other halfs last night so only the grand total of about 5 minutes ride in this morning :D

This time last year though was my ride home through 8 miles of a foot or two of water. Don't really fancy that again.

It seems to be my fault as soon as my MOT is due the weather goes biblical :o

Moist.

:eek::(

I've ordered some nikwax for my textiles, they're just soaking up the water now and I end up with a wet crotch, chest, arms, and the water runs down inside my goretex gloves.... :(

Gonna have to start using my 2 peice rain oversuit instead I think, it's a pain to put on but it does keep me 100% dry at least.

RJ has issued a statement he may be closing all his social media and YouTube accounts, that'll be a shame, he's my fav YouTuber.

His face did get revealed recently.

But yeah, wouldn't be surprised if it's just the 'I'm not doing this anymore' attention seeking phase that every YouTuber goes through.

I was on my winter hack so it can rain as much as it likes :D

So this morning on the way to work it was absolutely hammering it down and on the way home I had mega sidewind gusts.. I got laughed at going through a 60 camera everyone slows down for, at 40, diagonally. I hate gusty sidewinds.

I've thought about a decat y pipe to replace the cat box on the exhaust, means taking the headers off and having the cat cut off, rather than spending £600 on new headers.

The stock headers without the cat are fine to use with an aftermarket exhaust but stock pipes are still heavy.

Found this y pipe on ebay, fits all slip on exhausts which fit the stock pipes which is 99% of them.

Don't fancy spending £600 on new headers and £600 on an akro exhaust.

lad at work is wanting to sell his 2012 ninja 250.

got about 4k miles on it hes owned it since new, i know he tried to sell it for 2k a while ago but didnt in the end.

thinking if i can get it around 1.7-1.8k should do me for the short commute to work and hold its value for a resale next year.

what do you guys think ?

250's aren't really bought by anyone as they're in between classes, too big for a CBT holder and if you've got an A2 license then you just get a proper A2 bike.

Plus, they're still very slow, ok for round town but that's about it.

Just be wary that you'll have trouble selling it on.

Priced my old bike at £950, a little high but gives me some room to move.

First message is saying they'll offer me £600 as they need to spend £3-400 getting it serviced  I want to know where this guy services his 125's because I'm in the wrong business!

It's made even funnier by the fact the advert has a whole list of bits replaced less than 200 miles before it was put into storage which includes all the service bits plus clutch cable/chain and sprockets/rear brake shoes/fully rebuilt front caliper and new pads plus it had an oil change last week before it's MOT.

I can see this may be more ball ache than I hoped...

Edit: he's now upped his offer to £650 and seems very pushy about getting my address even though I've told him I won't be budging on price at this time. Smells dodgy as a scooter with no plate and a balaclava wearing rider.
