A tweet? Are you a bumder? You could at least ride one that sounds a bit meaty, like a Harrier :D
Not today my friend. I'm an SV bro today. However, Monday i'm not sure yet. ;)
There was a massive scooter meet over where I live on Tuesday, literally 100's of them!!

Though, I appear to of lost a front mudguard bolt recently, no idea where the hell it has gone. I'm assuming that it fell out when in a corner. :p Anyone else lost random bolts? :D
Looking at the bike, it doesn't look like it has hit anything thankfully. The fairings are right behind it!

Rode into Brum last night to meet a friend for dinner, by the time I got home at about half 9 the sweat was literally dripping off my nose when I took my lid off.
We need one of these good storms they've been promising us to freshen it up a bit.

2 strafe aircon in my dads car was refreshing when it was 30c+ :D, but once I walked (more like rolled in :p) into the hospital I was sweating again. :o

Analogue speedometers need to die, no place for them on today's bikes, especially not on a 15k adventure bike.

Analogue rev counters are fine but digital speedometers are just better overall.

I think, I'm one of the few ppl that like 2 round circles; one indicating the revs and the other speed. I hated my diamond shaped dash on the SV...

I like an analogue rev counter - don't mind too much on the speed. However, the point I was trying to make is that the analogue dials on the GS are particularly poor. They're very small and quite cluttered.

That's the issue when you have a bike that can do 160mph and need to also have a rev counter and loads of extra info on an lcd display.

too much stuff to fit into a small space, the kph marks are unreadable at a quick glance and the UK speed limit is a quarter way round the speedo!

About time. The dash on the GS I rode earlier this year was not good at all.

How are these dash screens in the sun (glare) compared to analogue? Easy to see still?

Yeh they are very small, I imagine BMW would call their dash 'classic' as they do love their dials. Most of their bikes seem more business like than purposeful when you look at the clocks/dash.

Even the analogue clocks suffered from glare. Small cluttered display with reflections.. This is the courtesy bike I took out earlier this year.

Too hot for leathers again today, already 23'c and the sun is strong, staying indoors for now.

I have some gloves I'm selling if anyone wants first dibs before I list them online?
