Have you checked you didn't dislodge one of the push pins in the fuse block when you changed the relay? That seems like the simplest thing to double check before you have to go broken wire hunting.

I think that might be the case, both indicators were working fine before I've taken the original relay for the first time. Everything looked connected though, but I'll double check at the weekend.

in terms of the relay though it's 7 pins so 4 1 for each indicator plus 2 for side stand cut off plus an extra one for ***** and giggles which means if he's knocked the connector one of them fits into loose when fitting it then one wouldn't illuminate. This is an educated guess as I've not got a pin out diagram or my bike in front of me.

Check the wiring where you've messed, and make sure your tail fairing aint chopped any wires

Worse comes to the worse you can always run some wires from your front indicator to your rear

What tyres do people use/recommend? mainly for commuting but also good for the weekend rides. 2007 gsxr 600.
looking at:
Pirelli angel st - £129
Conti attack road 2 -£190
Michelin Pilot road 2 - £159
used road attack on my last bike and they were reasonable good, leaning toward the angel st based on price/reviews. but anything else to look at?

Angle GT's are the newer version, the ST was replaced by them. Don't be put off by the GT name, they're great all round tyres for all bikes.

This might be of interest, although they didn't test the Angel GT's - for what reason I have no idea...

They reckon the new Metzler roadtec 01 is the best (not including the angel GT) with a sport bias and they look nice, a bit like a proper wet race tyre.

Basically any sport touring tyre will have plenty of grip in the dry, it's the grip in the wet/slimey/slippery conditions that's important if you're going to be commuting on them, and I'm not sure how much the MCN test looked at that.

So are the SuperCorsas the best, if your bike is a weekend toy that gets used only during warm sunny days? :p

Yes. Loved my SuperCorsas, perfect for nice weather summer rider. I would have them if I didn't ride all year round.

That's what I use for dry road riding and the odd trackday. Rear has been to Germany and back and done several laps of the 'Ring, and still has enough life in it for my trip to Wales and a trackday at Anglesey. They are mega.

Just make sure you get the road compound ones and you'll be fine.

Guys, silly question time. I'm looking at a k1 gsxr 600 so wanted to check mot and the few details available through the govt. website. However, the site doesn't recognise the reg plate. Any reason why this would be?

That's the one I was trying. The reg is from a photo on the ad, you'd have thought that would be the one to check lol.
Ta for the quick reply though :)

Edit: shoving the reg into Google told me the bike was originally a different colour but there hasn't been a mention of a change/ any damage from the seller. Can anyone recommend an hpi check company for cheap? Ta
