Aaaagh, don't you hate it when TV shows don't get bike stuff right....

This TV show has 5 or 6 Ducati Monster 821's riding along for 30+ seconds. What noise has been dubbed over the top? Inline-bloody-4!:mad:

As you were. :D

So what's everyone's plans for the bank holiday weekend? Bikey or not very bikey?

Weather here looks good for Friday (13 degrees and sunny) and pretty poor the rest of the weekend (wet and windy), so I may go for a ride out tomorrow and start work on replacing my fork seals on Saturday to try and make the most of the weekend!

Rebuilding my rear MC tomorrow then hiding in the house from the rain for the rest of the weekend. If I had somewhere indoors to work on the bike I'd be riding tomorrow then leaving the fiddling to the wet days :(

Not very bikey for me this weekend, going to a wedding in London and busy with family

raining here in Manchester today!

Yeah I'm lucky to have a decent car port so the bike is under cover, and a nice big shed with a workbench so I can work on my forks in the dry.

Just had a call to say my leathers have come back and are ready to be picked up so I might brave the rain on Saturday to go and get them pity I won't be taking them out for a test run though.

Edit: scratch that they're open tomorrow, may put off rebuilding my MC and go for a play instead :o

Probably just clean mine and help my brother put his mods back on his Bonneville. Weather is looking meh.

It's raining now until early tomorrow morning, so even if weather is good on Friday it'll probably be a bit crappy out.

Any reason? What has been your experience?

Wrong exhausts put back on bike (£120 ones instead of the £350 ones, completely different make), near enough siezed brakes when it was delivered back, new damage that wasn't caused by the accident, cables routed incorrectly, front headlight bulb rattling loose in headlight casing, sidestand stopper not put back on so the stand would bang in to the exhaust, front brake spongy, fork protector not lined up, brake cable routed wrong, indicator wonky. There are other things, but can't think off the top of my head at the moment.

And terrible service, lies, shoddy workmanship and so on.

If you Google them, you'll see similar issues on other forums.

Wow that's even worse than I thought you were going to say!

My bike got repaired by 4th Dimension, and apart from them taking their sweet-ass time ordering the exhaust, they were great. I also got £50 from the insurance company for them taking too long.

Yeah it's meant to hammer it down all night here then stop raining about 6am, hopefully that'll clear a load of the crap and salt and muck off the road and they'll dry out by the time I've rolled out of bed in the afternoon... :D

The wind and rain has started here already so I doubt I'll get out on the bike, got my exhausts to do though.
