Hi,

I just got the Blackbird home today. It is a 97 carb model. I noticed the below nut had fallen where the bike was parked before moving it inside the garage. Google search suggests it maybe of the Sprocket. It was getting dark and couldn't check the bike later to see where it belongs.

At least I am relieved that I noticed it fallen on the ground.

Could you guys help with identifying it please. Appreciate your inputs. Cheers!

Got a reply in reddit. Nevermind. :)

Those of you who went to TT IOM, how far in advance do you need to organise it? Any tips and recommendations on places to stay/watch the race? I want to finally scratch the itch, each year something comes up and seeing how quickly the months go by, I think its time to pull the trigger. lol
A friend of mine did it about 10 years ago with a group - they had to book it, something like 2 years in advance! With Air B&B being so rife nowadays though, you might find it a lot easier. Not too sure where they stayed or the areas they viewed from - maybe have a look on YouTube for people who covered the TT or uploaded videos from it, they often have tips on where to view (Lee Johnston did some iirc)

Been without a bike for a few years now, thinking of buying something else for an occasional blast…. Wanting something a bit more upright, I was thinking of test riding the BMW F900XT, any others you can recommend? BMW currently offering 1.9% apr on a new one too, which may tempt me! Looks like some decent spec for the price!

In terms of camping/accommodation, probably at the time of the TT the year before I think, the ferry openings are in March or something like that I think last time I went.
In terms of watching just see where looks exciting on the TV and go there first, remember the road is obviously closed so once you've chosen somewhere you are there for hours, sometimes you may get enough time when they reopen during to move to a new location, but will probably be busier during the day.
Kirk Michael was fun to watch from, Barregarrow is epic to see, but they are gone so quick, Ballaugh bridge is always popular.

That's a hefty discount on a brand new bike (Lind Watford if anyone is interested). Quite a few dealers have been in trouble recently so is this a sign of problems at Lind or at Harley Davidson?

It's an (already overpriced) second hand bike... *Shrug*

I’ve got the HJC F70 Kesta carbon and it’s up there with anything else I’ve owned, they’re great value.
I think @Scort has one as well.
Yeah, got an RPHA 7P carbon, posted somewhere in here

Lovely lid, and I've adorned it with a pair of AliExpress knock off visors - decent copies, a little more snug to close mind
