That's pretty impressive.
I don't need one and I've got no excuse for buying one, but I can't help it. I'm weak...
Dammit. Bought two of the things. Will see what they're like.

That Youtube footage is excellent considering the price of those things!!. Do you have one of these?. I'm off to order two. Will stick one on the front of the bike and one on the rear. Awesome!!![]()
I am probably forgetting something like electricity but would it be possible to charge it on the go from the bike battery?
Thanks for that link Mr. 2004, lots of useful stuff it seems.

Well fired up the S3 for first time in a month and went for a wee blast.......pulled over to make a call and send a fruity text to the good lady and tried to start bike back up again!!!! D'oh, that will teach me for not checking the battery properly.
Called AA but was told 90 mins so pulled battery out and gave it a shuggle! Hey presto fired up and thankfully never did the sprag in while trying the first time.
Not going to replace battery as bike going against duke soon so on charge and hopefully will do me till then![]()
Same. Damn.
Got a multimeter? Charge it fully, then check the voltage every 24 hours for 3-4 days. It should be about 12.8v, if it drops below 12v within a few days then its knackered. Factor in temperature too, if its stored outside or somewhere very cold then the battery will loose its charger faster anyway.
Also worth checking the charging unit since it died after you've ridden it. Check voltage with ignition off, start bike, rev to about 4k rpm and check voltage again. It should be a few volts higher, if it isnt then its not charging.
