22nd June... California Superbike School Level 1 at Stowe circuit, Silverstone. Booked + my dad with me.

10th July... Rockingham International circuit trackday. My first trackday! (went for Novice group).

Very excited! :D .

Speaking of trackdays.... Who's interested in a £45 trackday. It's the whole day with 6/7 sessions (depending on stoppages) at Llandow in South Wales. Small track but great fun, easy to learn and still better than riding on the road any day of the week.

Not many spaces spare now, so best be quick!

My video from last year to give you an idea of layout.

The road running from the A69 to Alston is in very poor condition, lots of gravel/mud and in the summer its really busy. The roads running from Alston to High Force or Alston to Stanhope are really nice roads, great visability and various stretches of good straights and twisty parts.

Yea, coming from the Carlisle direction it can be quite dangerous in places. The surface is so rough it can grab your front wheel sometimes.
cant wait until the summer though, great fun riding up to the cafe and getting some mince pies.

Just a wee update on my Hong Kong levers. Got them today and the fit and finish is superb, BUT they sent me the wrong colour. Back they go! :(

Thats a shame! push for replacements without sending them back. Postage will be quite expensive.

I was quite impressed with mine

You'll love it, I did level 1 at Rockingham & my brother did i at Stowe.

Both doing level 2 this year at Stowe.

As for rockingham that's a nice short & twisty circuit very good for practicing what you get taught at the CSS.

well spent the last hour tinkering with my new toy, just trying to clean up the only untidy bit of the bike. The previous owner had put a nice open clutch basket on but obviously couldnt be bothered to fit stainless springs. a few months later. Mr Rust.
