Bikers Youtube thread

No, not ever in normal road riding.

The only time you would shift weight in this manner is at low speeds on U-Turns where counter steering does not come into play and you want to counter balance some weight during a full lock or close to full lock U-Turn. You get better benefits by practicing better throttle, rear brake and vision disciplines however.

Yep, I think that's the tip, I didin't know how fast he was going it looked like he was barely moving. :)

They could have cleaned all the yellow first service markers off while they were at it :p

That's the Akra with the decat, but sounds like the exhaust servo is still connected. I think I prefer the stock without the exhaust valve.

Yeah it pretty much is the perfect long distance naked GT bike. Stick the panniers and top box on, set the cruise control to stun and the suspension to comfort mode and waft down to the Alps with your female companion with zero effort. Then, whip off the panniers and top box, turn up the power to 11 and shred the rear tyre on the alpine passes :D

I probably shouldn't post this, it happened around 2 months into my riding career. I decided to do a "big bike" taster morning, prior to starting my DAS.

This is the first time I met the instructor (who would also take me for DAS), and made an awesome first impression...
