Pay at the pump or nothing for me, why inconvenience yourself? :p

I was at Costco pay at the pump and the "attendant" made my get off my bike to fill up. Safety or something apparently.

I've never been asked to get off my bike to fill up or take off my helmet.

Pay at pump is 100x easier though especially when the tills are full of people doing their weekly shop...

I think it is a good job she did get off the bike to fuel it and pay, judging by the problems she had just getting back on i! At least she didn't fall off with the filler cap open whilst wielding a petrol pump.

+1 I always ride a bit further to use my "local" pay at the pump place. All the others make me take my helmet off before pumping.

I do have to get off the bike though, as my tank is at the back :p.

I really don't like having to take off my helmet to pay for fuel. Fortunately I live in the sticks so it doesn't really cause an issue for me.

The less I say the better though as the last time I did I accidentally swore and got a forum warning!!

Had a massive fall out with my local 'Pay at Pump' Shell place as the idiots wanted me to take my helmet off, when I refused he turned the pump off -_-

What did they think I was going to do? run off with fuel I have already paid for?

I fill at my local Tesco pay at pump with dark visor and helmet on. No issues :p

Happened to me, in the meantime whilst I asked him why I should get off and so on, I was already getting ready to get off and pay for the fuel I filled up. :D From now on, when he sees me he doesn't even come over to tell me that... He can't make me. :o

I've never been asked to take my helmet off/get off the bike. I've seen the signs though. I would ignore any tannoy message aimed at me and carry on filling up. I try and go to pay at pump so I'm not even in a situation where I'm asked to remove my helmet in the shop. I'm not mean looking enough to get away with being a tough guy and refusing to take it off.

I'm speaking French by the way ;)

It's in case the garage can't find a problem, as I'm sure it will magically work fine with them.

Welcome to the world of Aprilia ownership. Now just wait unless you need a part from the factory - the workers there must have the best jobs in the world as they're rarely open!
