Bin men don't lift bags left outside the bin?

And now you have the situation today with binmen (who used to carry bins down alleyways then back) refusing to take a couple of extra bags, and yet we are expected to pay the same amount lol.

again what does it have to do with bin men, they arent collecting due to being lazy, but due to rules set by the council.

and of course it costs more, we didn't use to have the landfill charges we used to, or do you want to go back to those days of just umping everything into landfills.

mind boggling the stupidity in this thread. recycling is easy, just do it and you wont have an issue.

I remember when bin men were MEN. ;)

Black bomber jackets hauling steel bins up and down the jigger all day.
They just pussies now who like to throw the odd sticker on a bin if something is deemed unsuitable for said disposal bin.

we got bin woman that looks like men having said that they built like brick ** Please don't try to circumvent the swear filter - EVH ** am not going to argue with them :D:D

Walked outside to take rubbish out. Bin is still full!!

It was not half open, nothing torn or anything , nothing on floor.

FML.

Will use the note next time and call the council again, you can't win with these people

With my council you can report missed collections and they'll come back and empty it on a "no blame" basis. Obviously they may not if they have marked you down as having lid up or overflowing bin etc.
