Thing is though, they can.
Take this example :

Benefit system should be abolished, government should be cut in half, its monopolies disbanded, taxes lowered.
There would be much more work and people would be infinitely more charitable and generous afterwards.
ok give them travelcards and means to get trained.
Just not cash that can be wasted on anything, as it inevitably does.

True, because abolishing the benefit system, which employs thousands, cutting the government, which employs thousands, disbanding monopolies, which employs thousands and reducing taxes is going to create more jobs.
That is a more viable option. I found when I was claiming that there was very little in the way of training available to me. There was no emphasis on providing me with the skills to enter work, but rather the skills to search on their website and send off a CV.![]()

A lady I work with is a single mum with one of her sons living at home. She works full time earning around £1100-1300 take home a month on top of that she gets benefits for her son being in full time education, she also lives in a council house.
the benefits on that wage for a single child are hardly anything to write home about.
£20 a week child benefit (same as any other parent)
she won't get working tax credits on that wage, just child tax credit
which will be about £1360 a year

Its nothing.
imo, single parents should have the money given by the parent does not live with counted as income.
eg// A single parent could earn £1100 a month pre-tax and get a lot of financial support, yet the parent paying support could be giving £600 a month cash-in-hand!
Im not really sure she seems to think its a lot of money the way she keeps going on about it lol
give them vouchers that cant be spent on booze, smokes, Massive TV's and Sky
Or Henry Lloyd jumpers, exhausts, tattoos or fancy holidays.
