Nothing in the packs are unobtainable from the shop.

APART from the title, I think. Which is a **** title anyway.

The armour and weapon skins, horses, skill resets etc etc are all obtainable. Obviously things like guest passes are not.

Armour, weapon skins aren't available in store. They've been removed from the NA/EU store due to being a preorder exclusive.

The social side of the game is what's annoying me. So that would be awesome.

We will probably be on from 6ish. We are sub lv15 in Veila fishing at the moment. We want to start connecting nodes to the islands in order to raft out there and fish afk when we are working/sleeping. Then we will continue leveling and questing.

You know I just looked at the skins and I'll be honest I'm not overly fussed by them, they look as janky as the Blade and Soul founders skins but I do have a question... With the explorers pack you get a Pet of Choice... what do the pets do or are they cosmetic?

You do get a pet, the pets consist of things like penguins, dogs, cats, owls and some others I think.

Each pet family have a bonus. So if I picked a penguin (multiple looks to choose from) I get 20% auto fishing speed increase. Which is DAMN handy as I'll be AFK fishing most of the time. You can have up to 3 pets on your character at any time. Some help with grinding, some spot PK'ers etc.

I've yet to claim my pet actually. Need to make sure Valkyrie is my main class. Certainly feels like it will be.

love ppl say ranger is boring..... up to lvl41 yes, but after that, she is a wrecking machine. You will dominate all in PvP with a few choice skills, I'll see you all there

this is what being a ranger is all about, nothing will get close to you, fight smart on the flanks, in and out you will annihilate all before you

indeed, cracks me up how retarded it is regarding the griefing, but play ranger like this and you'll never get tagged and own mass pvp. My point is this is how you play ranger, play smart, play quick from afar, its such a dangerous class when played right. Archer and Wizard are the most OP deadly classes to mankind. I rolled my Archer to lvl53 on KR, some of the combos are so tricky to learn, but so rewarding at dealing insane dps..ppl are like, wow wtf.

Cats
Cats have the smallest maximum hunger bar,their default special ability is to locate water.

Dogs
Dogs have much larger hunger bars than cats, as well as the default special ability to make a special growl when hostile players approach.

Hawks
Hawks are the newest pets, with the largest hunger bar, least interactive abilities, and the special ability to locate elite mobs around you.

They do other things as well like auto loot ever 10 seconds and little other things.

Agree, that vid is stupid lol.

As for Ranger, felt like a boring class to play in general. I'm not fussed about 1v1 PVP.

I prefer the play style of the Valkyrie a lot more.

Edit: Also, when people say at lv41 the class becomes much better puts me off big time. Is it because of skills acquired? If so, screams the class doesn't really need skill, just a skill.

it does feel like a boring class until late levels, that's why so many ppl will re-roll them after a while. It gets nuts late game though.

I don't know, the game is what it is and griefing/ganking is part of it. Aion probably will be my best PvP game of all time due to the constant PvP zones and my Spiritmaster OP'ness! The Ettenmoors in Lotro will come close, spent many many hours in warg packs or solo there.

PvP is a major factor in any MMo for me, the risk of open world PvP just add's that extra bit of adrenaline if you out exploring or having to complete some task.

Don't get me wrong though, if I get ganked there is no expletive made that I don't shout at the monitor

I don't really understand that video. I mean I had to e-mail the code and if it's the right one it's an archer in the desert going around killing people attacking mobs, is he getting anything from this other than just e-peen? Also I thought people went red or something after a few kills but it doesn't look like he is?
