Black Desert Online

It's ~31GB if i remember right, speed was good when i downloaded it but it's launch day today so might end up slower.

I find myself frantically mashing buttons in combat with little attention paid to the actual combos... I'll practice doing it properly if/when I get around to trying PvP but against the general mobs in the early levels it doesn't seem to matter much.

just seen this as well, it's definitely better than releasing it in a state. It's just a bit poo that it's gone from midday to 14:00, now to 16:00 lol, i've arranged work calls around the original times, so now when it's releasing i'll be working. Wouldn't surprise me if that window gets pushed again as well, going to be a huge influx of ppl all joining at once. I see problems like every mmo launch.

a patched client is available now, the game is still down for maintenance but it's worth dl'ing now if you can before 1,000,000,000,000 people come online later and clog it all up :)
 
"an error occurred while downloading the file" - 30GB later. Seems to be downloading now at 57mb/s so obviously thats not right, maybe some kind of integrity check.

Yeah i had that a few times, but even after it has got back to the % i got the error on it downloaded at a lot higher speed than i get on steam, origin and other game launchers
 
Right guys do we want an OCUK guild, thinking of calling it OCUK Alliance or whatever someone else comes up with.

Or...

Join someone like Nemses guild which will have a few more people and will be all ready setup for us.

If we do our own guild we can attempt some world bosses, help each other level, protect some of our cargo runs to make money, help each other level up weapons, boats etc... assign guild missions to each member. Do a bit of friendly pvp against each other in the arenas or have a laugh and get trashed starting wars with other guilds.

I dont mind either way.

If we want a stab out our own i will do it tomorrow morning. With the servers being down and im at parents 60th birthday later. I may try do it later tonight but im off work all tomorrow plus sat and sun so will get cracking on it.

Total noob here (bought the game yesterday), is there a server you are all on now?
