Can this be played casually? I hardly have anytime these days, but want and need something to play? Or must we sink hours and hours in to it?
I'd say you can go casual in this game, just don't expect to be hugely competitive in the high level PvP content and know that it will take a long time to level up as a casual player.

I'm a fairly casual player as well, usually playing for two hours on Tuesday evening and maybe a little bit longer on a Saturday. Even with such a small amount of time to play, I'm really enjoying the experience... especially the exploring.

That's great. Cheers.

I do enjoy levelling so I might give this a blast

I reformatted my PC (Windows 10 Reset) today and now Black Desert is having this weird choppy effect when I move the camera. Changed nothing, same settings as before. Does the game require some sort of additional program, such as those C++ 2010 x86 things some games have you install? That's all I can think of... same Nvidia Driver 362.00 as I used before... same everything :( Haven't even changed any bios settings.

Wireless mouse? If so are you sure it's not the receiver location? Mine has beenterrible since installing win 10 - the receiver has to be a fair distance away from all other receivers e.g. wireless headset

How does this compare to Blade and Soul? I've watched a few gameplay videos and it looks pretty good. Shame the blader isn't available yet, seems like something I would enjoy.

A lot of people were saying to buy BnS to me as it was going to be so much better than BDO. So I did, played it for a weekend and was bored stiff of it. Such a rubbish mmo.

BDO on the other hand, I've not put it down since purchase. Amazing combat, amazing visuals, the world is alive, and the amount of trading, crafting and things to do is just fantastic. There's so many quests I don't know where to start.

This game has to be the most confusing game I have ever played. I think Eve is easier to understand fully! I have spent a lot of time just reading guides and finding out what the hell to do (node system etc).

Saying that the combat is really fun, probably one of the best i have experienced. I am enjoying the game so far (lvl30) which is worrying as I didnt want to get sucked into another life drain mmo, especially one as complex and grindy as this will get.

I've not purchased the game yet as i am on the 7 days trial untill tomorrow, i might just NOT purchase it due to me getting sucked into it.

Definetlly worth a try for anyone interested, just try not to understand everything from the start.
