Got the same thing, not been able to find the problem.

I quit Bit Torrent and Steam and it worked. Not sure which of the 2 was needed though.

I seem to be stuck already. The bit after you plug the thingy in and go through to the zombie on fire in the lift, where you first encounter explosive boxes.

What the hell? I'm sure I didn't get stuck like this before and I've looked everywhere
