This really is a great modification.
Bringing back much of the emotions an panic, that I experianced the first time I played Half Life, good 8+ Years ago.
But re-envisioned in HD, with Source, an some great looking textures + some original modifications to certain locations.

It's a little disappointing, valve didn't provide original voice acting, especially klimar an Eli, considering they endorsed this modification so long ago...

What settings are you guys running this on? Am I right in thinking all settings can be maxed with any half decent card from the last couple of years or am I expecting too much? I have a 5770 and maxed them all and I am getting stuttering, but not sure if it is my HDD which is very old and slow. Do you guys get "LOADING" screens a lot?

Yeah the train ride was very stuttery for me also. The game itself tends to fluctuate quite dramatically. For example I was sitting at 60 fps, then I jumped down a ladder, landing in some water and it dropped to 8fps. My spec isn't exactly poor, should handle it fine!

Glad it's not just me getting the stuttering. Apart from that it really is an amazing achievement so far this game

Game looks amazing I did see however multi-core rendering couldn't be enabled it is also a bit stuttery in places, like there is frame skipping.

Yeah, noticing that as well in some parts, but overall it is very smooth.

Had a bit of stutter when I first encountered a bullsquid and blew up a box next to it, been silky smooth other than that on max settings with a 6950 and 2500k at stock. gpu usage seems to be around 40-60% with vsync.

Yeah my multicore rendering is also not selectable. The stuttering is err...quite bad. Hmm...
