Black Myth: Wukong

I'm in chapter 3,level 40ish. To be honest so far I'm disappointed with the combat system.
After games like bloodborne, sekiro, lies of p this game seems so shallow... basically you're constantly doing the same thing over and over again.
Fast attacks, charge heavy attack, some magick trick, rinse and repeat ...

I did get a bit bored so had parked it for ages whilst playing other games, and now feel a bit meh wanting to get back into it.

Maybe I'll never get back into it though :o

I have a lot of games on Steam that filtered through that sort of thing, enjoyed at first, other games came along with more fun and engagement and variation of gameplay, lost interest in the slog of said previous game :p

I hate not finishing games. I paid for it so I want my money's worth.

Besides this game is good!

I don't see how forcing yourself to play games you don't enjoy is getting your money's worth. Sounds like the sunk cost fallacy.

Of course, you'll get the odd game that improves as you progress, but those are few and far between these days.

HDR workaround:

Navigate to C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\b1\Saved\Config\Windows and open the Engine.ini file. Scroll down to the very bottom and copy/paste this.

[SystemSettings]
r.AllowHDR=1
r.HDR.EnableHDROutput=1
r.HDR.Display.OutputDevice=5
r.HDR.Display.ColorGamut=2
r.HDR.UI.CompositeMode=1
r.FullScreenMode=0
r.HDR.UI.Level=1.5
r.HDR.Display.MidLuminance=54
r.HDR.Display.MaxLuminance=750
