Blackberry 9900/9930

hee hee

So do you now get full 3G in your home all the time, or....?

Yep, get full perfect 3G in and around my home (to quite some distance outside of it, actually!)

Unless the internet goes down, obviously, then I'm left with 1bar EDGE if I put my phone in a specific place :p

Still loving mine, not had any problems what so ever with it.

Battery is lasting well, had a fair few phonecalls yesterday (which is unusual for me as I never get calls) and bat mr hitting the end call button with my head once it was good.

Still very much enjoying mine. Charging every 40~ hours and I've been using it quite a lot.

I still think it's a very specialised device but it's excellent at doing what it's designed for, no question about it!

What cases and screen protectors are you guys using? I still have the plastic sleeve on mine... lol

lol I've still got the bit of plastic it came with over the screen, really should take it off as it looks pap :p

Other than that I just use the holster it comes with, no need for anything else.

Still very pleased with how it just handles things so smoothly with regards to calls, contacts, emails etc.

Feeling much more comfortable with it than the Desire S I had for a couple of weeks.

Am still not using the touchscreen much either, instinct is to head for the trackpad each time :p

Only downside is now my wife wants a BB, albeit probably the 9780 as it's a little smaller and cheaper :)

She took out a contract a few months ago with a Wildfire S but she's not getting on with it to well, so mught have to stump up for a BB to replace it :(

Frustrating as means extra cost as will only get £100 or so back if we sell the Wildfire.

Grrr still waiting for mine...my damn boss still hasnt deposited my bonus cheque:(...looks like it wont be till next week...i did play with one at a voda shop the other day and i do love it...such a massive improvement over previous BB's.

I got my 9900 today, woot!! its a real beauty, definately the best Blackberry yet, still trying to get used the touch screen, as I too am used to the trackpad/key combos, but I am really loving this phone at the moment :D

Have a look at Mobiles.co.uk, they have the 9780 PAYG on Vodafone (they send you a sim free phone though) for £280 black, or £290 white (both include £10 topup and delivery)

Try the link for cashback that I posted earlier in this thread, you can normally get something back even for PAYG.

I really can't imagine using a BB without a touch screen... everything must've been so fiddly!

Bought mine today, £350 terrific handset, only flaw is when using the touchpad your thumb can touch the bottom of the screen and mess things up
