Bless online & The Immortals guild

Refunded as soon as I hit 20fps in the big city

There should be zero performance issues if all they're doing is translating and adjusting the cash shop for Western audience from their Asian release version so I'm guessing it's more to do with Dx9 and Unreal 3 and thus not something they'll ever fix

Certainly not worth the £36 price tag

For the people that did manage to get in last night what's your thoughts so far?

I managed to get to level 10 in the 90 minutes i played last night. Thoughts so far....

- Camera is really blad, doesn't feel right. No action camera mode for any class other than beserker.
- Combat is just OK, there are far better MMO's out there for combat. It's on a level with FF14 though, so not too bad.
- Questing is very generic, so far. Although nice that some quests are voice acted (albeit rather badly)
- Graphics are not the worst i've seen, i did suffer a little FPS drop in the main city but not to the level of some (mine was around 40fps)
- World, i love the fact it's all open world, but notice a lot of the zones feel a little bit empty besides the quest hub's!

I will play some more tonight to see if any of this changes, so far i'm tempted to refund as i don't feel this is any better than GW2 or ESO (I prefer PvE to PvP).

This MMO seems like an awkward love child between ArchAge and Black Desert Online, on papaer it should be a good thing......

I soon as I watched a stream I thought BDO, there is p2w aspects aswell but nothing that if you play X10 as much u can't get past but I don't like that

You'd be hard pressed to find an MMO that doesn't have such p2w elements in them these days, it's a shame but seems thats the way the genre is going!

MMOs need to stop using Unreal Engine 3 - Its old and outdated.

The game was made in 2015 so changing engine isn't really an option unless they rewrite everything just for the West

But at least now we know why it failed in 2 regions before coming to the West to apparently fail here too

Guild Wars 2, still not p2w even after all this time ;)

It has the least p2w stuff in the cash shop admittedly, but there is still the pay for convenience items in the cash shop, and also gems can be converted into in game gold so can also consider that to be p2w. That's why I say most MMO's these days have such cash shop as these.

ESO is the same, mostly pay for convenience. What annoys me about ESO is the loot crate system though!

The ultimate comedy is that if you google "Bless Online" and click the link for the official website, you get taken to a dead page with a button to return to a dead homepage. They reorganised the website layout but never bothered to set any page redirects.
