You'll all have to stop talking about it until 6gmt I'm afraid.

I'm in work now and can't play any more (completed first boss just before bed last night).


Happened to be playing FF7 through again just before this arrived, if some of you haven't played it for a while you should just to notice how alike the music is! (I know its probably the same music writer!)

I've come across one so far. There wasn't a chance of beating it at the time (first time in east desert). I think my peeps were only around level 8 or so and he could kill anyone with one 'multi-hit' and recharge his energy.

Could probably take one now, though.
 
Is this really good then?

I played the demo again lastnight and for some reason it didn't seem quite as cool as when I first played it. I think that annoying voice is going to make me explode sometimes. 'Critical', 'Defeated' etc. Why do I need Mickey Mouse to inform me of these things? :D

So the story is actually good?

It's brilliant mate.

Pretty much does what it says on the tin. If you like these kind of games, you can't go wrong.

I'm not really sure what some of the reviewers were expecting.

Its weird, a lot of the reviews i've read have listed too japanese as a negative, yet i swear i've never read that in any final fantasy review
 
Got it last night and I think its great. I love the fact you can engage multipl enemies at once so it makes its much faster paced.

All the skills are a bit overwhelming at the moment so its hard to know what I should level as!
 
Only played it an hour today due to bioshock arriving today aswell :( :)
But anyway im loving the game the graphics, acting are all superb, i am finding the game a bit easy and i havent got gameover yet, some of the bosses are really hard but nothing too hard. Great game will be playing it tomorrow i expect :)
 
Will definately be picking this game up when I get my week off work, been looking forward to it since its Japanese launch
 
From having 7 hours total play time on there the pros and cons so far:
PRO:
Great gameplay feels just like a FF game.
Great music for different areas, hell even the boss music thats exactly the same never gets boring.
Epic scale this game does seem like its gonna go on forever, theres so much story to this game.

CONS:
Too easy
Camera for rotating is a little annoying
 
I'm just in the middle of the dead forrest and still am finding that most mobs die in 1 hit. Hopefully this will change soon.

The boss fights are ace and I'm really moving the game at the moment
 
I'm pretty sure I read in a couple of preview/reviews that the game IS generally quite easy. In a preview they said that it was hoped the difficulty would be increased for the European release but I don't know if that is the case.

Please say it's not the exact same music on every boss fight? I think it would drive me insane. It was cool the first two times but I don't think I could stand hearing those few lines over and over again.
