BMW and M Power Owners

Guys need some advice, I want to sell my dads 535D GT, it has 67k miles, 2010, Its a SE but with a lot of options like dynamic pack and a 2 other packs.

Any idea what its worth?

Also Im thinking of buying a 430 or 435 for him. Is the X-Drive the one to go for? I want him to get into a smaller car as he lives in london and is finding it default with his advancing ages and the size of the car. I gave him my M6 but I think its still too big for him.

Hi

Bought a new battery for my E92 330i last week but did not know it needed to be registered to the car. got a family garage so they got me a battery at cheaper price but have just found out that it needs to be registered to the car.

Does anyone know how much BMW charge for this? or if it is something a local Indy can do?

Thanks.

No I bought my self a M6, I did not like it too much so I tried to give it to my dad who gave it back to me not long later.

And you can't see where the confusion is arising there?

If hes advancing in years, he's not going to want to get into a low 4 Series. Time to think form over function and get him a nice 2 Series Active Tourer

Haha getting him to move away from a S-Class/7 series took a lot of effort, But with time maybe a mini SUV like a Macan or SQ5 is the way to go.

I was just looking at the 3 series iPerformance which looks quite good

Need to find a friendly local with 'Carly' who can code the new battery

Yeah I think a small SUV type like sq5 is bang on. Doubt that a 4 series is the car..

See I wouldn't say that's a small Suv, it's still 4.5m long. The trouble is if you start going smaller like an x3 or q3 then you start to give up a bit of the quality. Although I would say they're on par with a 4 series. Which is definitely below a 5. It's a difficult choice. Something like a rr evoque maybe?

this is the problem. He is willing to give up the size but he wants quality and toys. The new Q5 or SQ5 could be good but you end up on the wrong end of 50k after options.

Will take a look at a X1. Maybe even a x4 could be worth considering.

Any idea how much I should put the 5 up for?

So I've been on the hunt for a E92 335i and aware the service intervals is CBS based, but what kind of history would you expect a low'ish mileage car to have had?

I've enquired about a few cars claiming to have FBMWSH, but some have gone up to 4 years without any service (well not from BMW anway). That seems like a awful amount of time.

Ok thanks.

This really resolves around the extended warranty I am looking to take out on the car, as I assume there's less jumping through hoops in the event of a claim.
