BMW and M Power Owners

@Rybo89 what colour is that?:eek:

Maybe it's worth him getting autowatch ghost?

And yeah the S55 engine is a different beast due to the turbos, although only 6 cylinders..

My mate traded in his M3 and got a M4:

Lovely motor. Has a Acrapovic exhaust system aswell.

Took me out in it last night, honeymoon period so won't let me drive it yet lol. From a passengers point of view the engine doesn't feel as special as the V8 in the E92 but the grip level, even on damp roads was pretty insane, felt properly planted. Speed wise the car didn't excite me, maybe because it is so refined and it was holding back because of the damp roads, Certainly quicker than the E92 though.

Proper good looking car and the interior just sets it off.

Any recommendations on a key signal blocker as this has the keyless entry. Told him about the guy on here who had his pinched so something he best invest in.
I love how people can tell how a car drives from a passenger seat

Not compared to driving you can’t

So you mean to tell me if I stuck you in the passenger seat of a Chiron and then the passenger seat of an UP! you wouldn't be able to tell the difference? Of course you can get a feel for a cars performance from the passenger seat! It's still bolted to the same chassis. The things you do lose are steering feedback, brake and accelerator response.

While I get the driver/passenger comments, must admit the new M3/M4 left me a bit cold. I had a highly spec'ed demo for a long weekend when changing my E92 V8 and...it just wasn't special. A better car than my V8 in every single way, and yet just didn't feel like an even or particularly special.

Conversely, the M2 makes me grin every time I fire it up. Very subjective opinion of course.

My (useless) 2p: messed around in an M3 Competition Pack for an hour. I loved every minute of it. Don't have much to compare it to, but that thing was epic. Leather dash finished it off nicely.

I’ve been driving my evoque for 2weeks and it’s made the M3 feel old and a bit dated. But that v8 is something else when you get back in and feel the way the acceleration keeps building all the way redline.

I think the M4 is a much better car but the engine doesn’t do much for me. Although the low down torque those things have must make it effortless.

LLF has a good video comparing the F80 to a E92

Is £18 delivered a decent price for 5L of BMW screenwash with anti-freeze (part #83122409032)? I can't remember how much I paid for my last bottle, and I've deleted the email :/

Extortionate. £4.50 from the rainforest, diluted 1:4 will cover to -6c

I've been using the summer stuff, 50ml for £2.90, diluted 1:100 and had no issues these past few weeks.

Why would you need BMW approved screenwash

5L of -10 concentrate from halfrauds is £5
Next we'll be eating BMW burgers in BMW restaurants drinking essence of M135i

Because mixing screenwash types can cause the filters to bung up which is a huge pain, isn't covered by warranty and requires faffing about to fix. Lots of people have had this issue over the last few years.

Just google 'BMW screenwash' and find a bunch of threads from people who've had this issue.
