I'm going to get the local garage to do it. It's my only car at the moment and I need it to get to work and back, and they are quite reasonable too. I just don't have the time unfortunately. I'll get them to do the bare minimum and then sell it.
I really hope we ditch front plates here one day, looks so much better.
Well, because my wife has a big car I can own anything I want it does not have to be practical. The problem is that there are so many cars I would like to try out so I just chop and change from time to time. For example I still have a V10 R8 and a TTRS itch so at some point I will own both of these. I generally buy them at 2 to 3 years old so do not loose much in depreciation if anything.
Yes it has. I test drove a 35i before I bought the 35is and there is a very noticeable difference between the two cars. The exhaust note alone makes it wroth it.
Dr House this is only going on what dealers told me when I bought my e89 but they (swindon & oxford) said demand goes up a lot, price up a little (like 5-10%). Don't know why Panthro's asking about the wind deflector, the best option by a mile is obviously the heated steering wheel. My god, I can't go back from this now.
Guys I've heard the strangest warning beeps I've ever heard twice in the same 50mile journey up to Sytner and no idea where it's coming from
Mentioned it to BMW and they looked at me like I was cray cray!
It beeps pretty much exactly like the BBC news chimes just without the final long chime - never heard it before, no warning messages associated with it.... is it actually my car? The only other thing is perhaps someone dropped something under the seat during a test drive however it's too loud and sounds to be from the speakers.
Anyone heard similar from their cars?
Managed to sell my z4 35is today. I got £22k for a 2011 car with 23k on the clock. So not too bad. I think I ran it for 6 month but only put 1 to 2 k miles on it.
Worst case scenario you can stream Deezer via Bluetooth. It's controllable through iDrive providing you set up playlists.Quick question, does anyone know if bmw apps only work with a connected drive subscription? Or are they independent?
Want to get Deezer up and running of possible with an iPhone 4 or 5s.

There are just 14 in any spec on the BMW website of which the nearest is 200 miles away in London and currently all are LCI models.
I don't mind huge trips to buy cars but a 400 mile round trip for a potential 10 minute spin around the block in a car thats massively out of my budget is rather something else ;p
Hilariously one dealer has an 18 month old one for £35995.
Broadspeed will get you a brand new one of the same specification for that money. Just how do they price these cars?!
Thanks guys, I still dont feel right telling him to do one but I have asked him to go to the dealer and get them checked. He was so exited about the car I even spent £60 getting it washed and waxed after he paid me a deposit.
Having owned a E92 M3 manual, I left it for a Cayman S, then a 996 C4S and I am now buying another E92 M3, this time DCT.
That is also after considering a 997 Turbo, 97 GTS and a new M3.
Sitting in, experiencing and owning an E92 M3, is not comparable to a the same of a 320d.
If you are buying a Porsche, it needs to be a manual IMO, and preferably with an OEM short shift kit. The PDK, although slick, doesn't have the character of DCT. It makes for a bizarre driving experience, very unconnected. That is of course, unless you are buying a 991 GT3.
