Does the 440i GC only come with an auto? Is it DCT or traditional auto?
Seems a lot of other owners are having the same issue on the Facebook page for the M140. BMW are apparently aware, but no fix as of yet.

I think the 4GC is gorgeous, dare say the audio system will be better than the one in my 09 Accord.

It needed to have enhanced bluetooth spec'd. Also they've moved to a subscription model for it now which is bonkers when most other cars have it for free.
It is easy to code in though, but you need the wifi antenna, a cable and a code.
17 onwards cars could be optioned with it.
I didn’t think CarPlay could be coded in?

It can't the old USB way, you need the wifi antenna, a coding cable and a bit of software, then a code from brdiagnostics or similar.
Tell me about it. It should be free with Pro Nav but that's what you get with premium brands I guess.

That's mental. > £7 a month for something that isn't improving (or at least, not improving due to anything BMW do) is scandalous.

How strange.
They already do it somewhat with the mppk for the f3x 35i/40i cars. Granted thankfully it's not a monthly payment yet lol.
Hence I've paid in total of about £130 to code it it. I find the navigation on the Pro Nav to be quite poor compared to Google Maps and the phone apps integration equally so.
