BMW and M Power Owners

Some in the press saying it's supposedly BMWs attempt at making something actually entertaining to drive in the 1 series line up (inb4 "omg FWD can't be entertaining its not RWD it's not a real BMW"), rather than chasing numbers with the M135i in a spreadsheet war with the Golf R, S3 and A35

Both my current insurer and moneysupermarket don't have the 128ti listed as a model. The woman at my current place i just spoke to suggested I double check with who I bought i from as that's a lot shorter than the other models.... I did mention my last one was a Z4.

Compare the Market lists the 128ti if that helps

Compare the market were showing around £41 per month as the cheapest, i rang up my current ones again and they found the 128ti straight away and increased my monthly amount from £20 to £22 of which £26 was admin fees. Pleased with that.

Per month? Insurance companies tend to use horrendous interest rates for paying monthly.

It's growing on me:

The change reminds me a bit of when Audi first went from two small horizontal grilles to the huge single grilles in the early 2000s (I think B6>B7 A4 and C5>C6 A6 were the first to change?)

It was really jarring at the time and I recall most people slating the new look but years on from that, it's hard to imagine how Audi's current design language would look without the massive grilles.

It's also odd when it's only £22 a month, suggesting the full policy is under £300 which is easily payable for most.

I suppose interest is negligible at that level for the convenience.

You're really best off avoiding monthly payments for insurance. What they do is rather than bill your insurance monthly you're effectively taking a loan to pay it in full. It usually works out lots more expensive.
