BMW and M Power Owners

Seems the global chip shortage is not slowing my order down. Call from the dealership today. The M340i I ordered yesterday will be ready probably w/c 13th Sept rather than w/c 11th Oct. so 7 weeks wait rather than 12. :)

I was told the only issue with new M340i orders relating to the chip shortage is if you have Enhanced Bluetooth with Wireless Charging.

Is it tragic 3 Series day on ocuk or something :D

High spec F30's are something of a rarity!

so it is probably the mixed signal (rf) semiconductor parts fabs that are still not up too speed, versus pure digital.

sn't that what all genuinely non sporty BMW's look like?
true I can't think of any films with a non-black bmw in the chase slot, ronin/transporter, no Metallic Kalahari Beige ... but when I see a M-sport badge on a bmw, AMG-line on a merc - sport is not my first reflection.

Reminds of the Top Gear episode years back when May tried out that "Uber" where they drive to you on a moped and stick it in the boot of your own car to drive you home. That one chap had a champagne coloured A class and admitted he had paid over 30k for it :p

Some people are a gluten for punishment.

Do 3 Series Tourings typically hold their value better than their saloon cousins? The very few M340i Touring models that are available on the AUC site seem really expensive, but they are still a bit cheaper than ordering a new one, eg. this one is £2800 cheaper than ordering the same spec new with an 11% discount from coast2coast.

Wow that's expensive.

It does have nice options on it. I've pretty much given up on trying to find a well priced used M340i. Given I hope to keep the car a good 5 years + I am probably going to order a new one.
