Sun roof is going to be extremely rare.
There'll be none with B&OLooking for an M140i, I guess
Seems to be lots available, but not many with Pro nav, sunroof, B&O and Shadow Edition with relatively low mileage. No rush though; not desperate to change so I can keep on waiting.
I have to say that when I was on the hunt for an M340i Touring, the pano roof was a 'nice to have' on my preferred spec list. The M340i I ended up buying had the pano roof on it and I must confess I absolutely love it and was glad the car came with one. It lets so much more light into the cabin and just makes it a nicer place to be compared to an example without oneI know, but I loved it in the 340i so would like to have one again.
I've just taken delivery of my new 530d saloon and it's missing the adaptive suspension that I had specified.
The supplying dealer has found out that since I placed my order at Christmas time, BMW has stopped fitting adaptive suspension to all 5 series cars, due to the chip shortage.
No one told me my car wasn't to spec and it was left to me to spot and raise the issue.
The dealer is going to try and find an alternative car to the same spec as my order, or refund me £500 for my loss.
The thing is I've never tried a car with adaptive suspension. Does it make a big difference to the way the car handles and is it a must have? Car is on 20" rims.

Did you pay for it as an option and how much was it? I'd be expecting that back, plus something towards any potential loss of value in the future as a car with it would likely be desirable for many compared to one without it.
I had Pirelli Cinturato runflats anll round and just changed them to Michelin Pilot Sport 5’s. Much, much quieter and makes for a much smoother ride too. Very happy with the change so far and no appreciable difference in traction and grip in the low temps we’ve had recently, down as low as 2’C. They weren’t cheap though but would recommend.I paid for the Adaptive Suspension as part of the M Sport Pro Pack.
The £500 refund that the dealer has offered is the difference between the packs, if the adaptive suspension is taken away.
I agree that the car will be potentially worth less without the adaptive suspension come resale time and, if I have to go down this route, I will be seeking extra compensation towards this.
Otherwise the car is great and I'm really pleased with it.
@MissChief - I see that you've recently fitted new boots all round to your very nice 428iGC; any recommendations for when I have to replace the Pirelli run-flats?
There'll be none with B&O![]()
The B&O in the MK8 fiesta isn’t proper B&O (not that the one in an A5 is either, but they are at least B&O speakers).HK; I've been looking at Mk8 Fiesta ST's that needed B&O![]()
I'm pretty sure most M140i cars are/were poverty specced PCP ridesLooking for an M140i, I guess

thisI'd be wanting more than that. That's appalling.
Adaptive suspension is really quite good.
