BMW and M Power Owners

Head ruled the heart at the weekend for the first time in my vehicle buying life. After deciding on wanting an M car having almost pushed the button on one many times before, have gone for a X3m40i to replace my diesel RR Sport. I loved the F80 M3 Comp but my Mrs really didn't like it and wanted to stay with a bigger vehicle. Tried the X5M and X3M but they are so pricey here even for a few year old model. I've recently changed jobs and walk to to the office and back, 40 minutes each way. I drive to the gym each morning, 1km each way and occasionally go away camping, cycling or scuba diving at weekends so needed something big enough to carry our stuff without having to roof mount something.

2019, Sophisto Grey. 55,000 kms. In immaculate condition. Hopefully pick it up at the weekend if the finance goes though quick enough.

X3M40i is a great car, I love mine and the B58 is a peach of an engine. I'm just about to replace mine with something a little bigger though.

My M340i Touring was delivered on Tuesday this week but I didn't have time to really drive it much or have a good nose around it until the tail end of the week, due to other stuff.

Initial impressions thus far are excellent. It's pretty rapid especially in Sport Plus mode with the gearstick knocked over to the left. Pulls like a train  . All the tech on it is a bit daunting as it was specced with pretty much every pack available and being an early 2021 car it seems to have escaped any lack of semi-conductor issues so there doesn't seem to be anything deleted. I'll definitely need to have a good read through the drivers guide app. Loving the Driver Assistance Pro and wasn't sure about the HUD to start with but its growing on me now.

Loving the Dravit Grey, although I know some folk aren't keen on it. Changes colour depending on the sunlight and time of day :)

Looks absolutely lovely with the exception of that magic tree

Ordered my BMW 330E Msport Touring with the tech and Msport pro pack on the 1st Nov. Went Brooklyn grey and the jet black 19” alloys - also went for the oyster interior as I think it looks mega posh.

Estimated delivery is towards end May.

God I hope it’s sooner - I can’t stand the wait

My M3 is in for a brake fluid service in the morning, it's frustrating that it doesn't line up with a regular service being done.

I also found out with Audi, it isn't included in the servicing pack.

Felt it was a bit cheeky, given it's a brake fluid service

Have you got steels or ceramics on your M3?

Decided to pay off my 140i, so BMW took the final payment yesterday.

Does anything change now you are the legal owner of the car? (instead of just the registered owner)

Yeah, if the bailiffs ever come for you - the car is now fair game :D

BMW main dealer? At least that, especially on an M3.
Yeah my local dealer, the app quoted £65 from memory but said that is subject to change, when I dropped it off this morning they said £99, I scoffed a little but I was already there so agreed, it was done in 2 hours and when I went to pay it was £72.10, she said she got some discount for me (which I don't believe to be fair!).

I think I'll book my August service tomorrow as they never seem to have any courtesy cars and it's a PITA to put a toddler in a car twice just so my mrs can take me.

Exactly what ChrisD. said, might aswell be driving around on steel wheels!
Totally agree! Trying to find an I3S with with silver wheels is very difficult! That, and the winter option is black only
I really don't understand this fascination with black wheels. And the fact tyres end up looking brown unless you're putting tyre shine on weekly makes it even worse!
