BMW and M Power Owners

Does it have the M Performance exhaust fitted? I spoke to him the other day and he said that I should take the car out so that I can experience the exhaust. I'm not sure if he's fitted it yet though.

Well I had a go in it today, it did have the m performance exhaust on it which sounded lovely. I was very impressed with the car and cant wait to have one for myself. the auto gearbox is amazing.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know! I'll set up a test drive for the end of September.

Did you place an order? If so, what spec did you go for?

Hopefully get my car back tomorrow, been sat at the dealers since last Saturday when the whole sound system, amp and control unit went properly bang. They are also fixing a bunch of other stuff while it's there as well. The 120d Manual they have leant me is bloody awful and I want my car back :(

Yes I ordered a stock car already specced up by them, its ready to be registered so as soon as paperwork is in order it will be registered and delivered.

Its Estoril Blue with Black leather.
Sports Auto box
Business Nav
Sun pack
Adaptive suspension
heated seats
Front & rear PDC
Full black panel
and Speaker upgrade.

I have also gone for the service pack and paint protection.

Very nice :) The Business Nav is a lot more compelling these days because it has a larger screen, upgraded hardware and a lower price point. The Adaptive Suspension is a feature I could not live without.

The auto box can be a little jerky when it's cold, but it doesn't take long to warm up. The upshifts in sport mode are brutal.

You won't get much love on here for the paint protection. It's widely considered to be very expensive for what it is, and is often poorly applied. If I were you, I would look for a highly recommended detailer and get them to protect the car properly.

You fed up of the A5 already!?

I know I said the F10 was a way better buy but this is a bit soon for a change right? :p

Not fed up, it's a lovely car and I love the sound system in it, but for the life of me I just can't get comfortable behind the wheel. I've tried all sorts of seating/wheel arrangements and I never feel like I'm sat right. I don't know if it's my bodyshape, the seat, the off set pedals, but it annoys the hell out of me.

I found similar when I test drove an A6 - just couldn't get comfortable behind the wheel. Ended up ordering a 535d and just waiting for it to be delivered end of October :)

All the BMW dealers I spoke to were willing to arrange a 24hr test drive without any hassle.

Should be shining into space as you drive along. Beats having illuminated door sills. :p

Ok now that would be pretty cool :D This is just nonsense!? The Range has it and it is HORRIBLE! Tacky as hell. Can't believe how *******ised the BMW brand has become.

e: Oh, is that still classed as a "swear"? My bad.

Seems a reasonable price, but a bit poverty spec for my liking. And, for me at least, not fast enough for the fuel economy. But then that's just me.

I'm quite sure it's faster than the average 2.0 petrol "anything without a turbo", but I only got around 25 mpg in mine. About 2 mpg more than my 340 BHP V8 petrol. I'd rather have the extra 2 cylinders and 80 BHP for 2 mpg. That is what I meant. And is the reason why I didn't like my Golf 4motion or R32.
