BMW and M Power Owners

Shouldn't be a problem taking it easy, it feels pretty damn quick without even having to go over 3.5k revs :D

Congrats on the purchase, it's a really nice all round car.

Best colour choice CoreKrogoth, nice one! Enjoy

It doesn't represent anything. It's going to be a wreck. Even the earliest, cheapest and ropeyist M3's are still around £5k, this one is 25% cheaper than the those ones which should speak volumes. Baring in mind its hard to find a decent 330CI for this price, an M3 which traditionally are double the price on the used market, is extremely unlikely to be anything other than a heap.

It will undoubtedly have a cracked rear subframe and at that price, i wouldn't be surprised if the boot floor was all but falling out.

Then it represents what price an M3 can be on the possibility it may or may not have a cracked subframe, surely?

A "decent" 330Ci at £4k will be a 3-4 years newer motor. A poor comparison to draw there. A Y reg 330Ci is likely to be in the realms of £2,000 in similar questionable condition. An equivalent E46 M3 that is an 03/04 model will be over £10k.

What about a 330i?

Cars built after September 2007, so some of the 57 plates. You'll need to go by CO2 emissions, the N53 is well under 200, the N52 is over 200.

To be honest if you are buying a cheapy I'd look for a non ED car - the N52 engine is much more reliable than the more efficient direct injection N53 engine. Plus it's more likely to be found in the sub £10k market than the newer ones, too.

iDrive isn't great in the older E92's but the interior without it just looks horrible, if you dont want it you might as well just buy an E46.

Unfortunately the e92 shape is the only one I like out of the BMW range for that price! Sorry to disappoint :)

Yay, this just turned up

EDIT:
I have suspicions that the magnet in my phone case is draining my fob battery... new trial of seperate pockets to see if it fixes up.
