BMW and M Power Owners

I'd say extended exposure to any upper end BMW would be enough to make one realise that a 2 Series is a bit naff in comparison.

As I said its OK, its not the greatest interior ever but then its a small/mid size car not a high end premium car. I think the steering wheel is the biggest problem for me on the none M-Sports, the rest is ok and does function very well, its a case of getting the right spec...

Mrk I try not to get attached I like to try different things! The M3 has been very special car to own though I've covered nearly 10k

Id say 7.5-9k depending on condition. There are loads of dreamers on pistonheads who have their cars up at stupid prices, and they have been sitting on there for a long time. Price it well and it will sell fast if it's in good condition with a FSH.

I couldn't do it, as much as I'd love to own something different and special every year I'd rather own something special and just drive something a different kind of special in a chance opportunity be it someone else's car or an event or something :p

My M3 certainly isn't going anywhere for years and years!

I was expecting less I've no idea how to price it to be honest

Depends what the condition is like. Pics? A very well maintained 2002 I know of went for 9k this week, but it was immaculate and had a few decent mods done to it, and had less than 100k miles.

I'll only sell it throw the money in my savings and continue to waft about In my cheap E39 till I decide what kind of special I want but the M5 is one I need to try! Don't care about the petrol mileage due to being my 'fun' car

Life's too short and there are many many nice cars out there. I would change every 6 months if the market didn't dictate cars depreciate so quickly.

I couldn't keep an E46 M3 for years and years it definitely doesn't hold enough interest for me to do so!

The condition of mine is fantastic, I bought on condition like mrk but still unsure where I should go in with pricing! Maybe with the right ad I can fetch 8k?

I guess I just want to have the best example of car x that people will (inc myself) likely see on the road and it's very rare to find one in the same condition as mine, for as long as my interest in it is fresh each time I drive it :p

I drive a few times a week at best so when I do drive I want to feel "yes, I do love driving this" each time and so far I can't see that changing even if I found say an E39 M5 next week for next to peanuts but was in mint condition. I'd buy and flip instead!

Had a look at that M3, it's due a service, is overpriced and hasn't had the subframe checked. A shame because the rest of the car was in great nick.

Nope, he'll end up selling it I'm sure, just to somebody who isn't clued up and will end up with a big bill somewhere down the line.

I'm starting to go off the E46 idea now. I don't want the hassle of small fixes and potential big bills when I'm using it most days of the week.
