BMW and M Power Owners

That's nice of them. Guessing that applied automatically by the dealers to the price they give you ?

I wouldn't say it's nice of them, it's one of the only ways they can retain customers who realise they are getting ripped off by main dealer servicing but value the bmw stamp in the service book. it will be itemised on the bill.

That was a bit of a tongue in check comment :P

I use H&C Motors in Maidstone. Really good guys and very competitive pricing.

Thanks, might give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say.

That's good to hear - I'm only a couple of minutes walk from it which is handy. They gave me a good quote for my old Z's roof motor replacement, though I ended up selling it instead.

Same for me, I work round the corner from them so it's really handy. They are more than happy to do labour only work as well which usually helps to bring the price down a bit.

My sister has recently bought a new one. I haven't actually been in it yet but it seems nice enough and the interior seems to be better quality than the old ones from what I remember.

It's big for a 'mini' though.

It doesn't feel much if at all bigger than the GF's 12 plate one, but the interior quality is noticeably better than hers. The door handles don't creak when you close the door for one. It's definitely a step up, it feels like a more quality product.

I'd love to try a nicely specced one.

So a Pheasant decided to test its strength on my car tonight and won by the looks of it!

Is it possible to fix damage like this or are we talking a whole new bumper?

Before I can get to the body shop tomorrow, does anyone here know the ball park figure of an F34 front bumper?

You could have it repaired - I'd be more inclined just to replace on such a new car though.

To repair it they'd need to take it off, strip the paint back, do a fibreglass repair then repaint.

I'd somewhat repair it but just making it look good on the front and side, I wouldn't worry too much about the back of it. Bumpers are disposable items and take a beating.

This was my first thought and I have no doubt if I was to replace the bumper another Pheasant will have a go! I will have to spend tomorrow getting some quotes for both.

I was so close to buying the perfect E46 M3 today. Late model, silver grey with red leather, OEM CSL wheels specced with the car, fully loaded, manual, coupe, 1 owner....The guy advertising it got so many enquiries when he put the advert up he had to withdraw it, but offered me first refusal on it as I enquired first and offered him his asking price. Today he called me and said he's withdrawing it from sale completelyand is going to keep it another couple of years. My heart literally sank :( :(

Or he may have sold it to someone else and didn't have it in him to tell you? Seems an odd decision to go from wanting to sell your car and actively advertising it to suddenly wanting to keep it for another couple of years! I could be wrong.

I have put my car up for sale and then taken the advert down. It does happen, even more so when you have a nice example :)

He's a car collector, quite well known on Pistonheads. We discussed the price at length and the reason he was selling was to make room in his warehouse for a couple of incoming cars. Now he's realised it's such a good car and possibly underpriced (IMO it wasn't) he decided to keep it. Whether or not he sold it to someone else is another story, but I'm inclined to believe he didn't, but you never know.

Just got the car back from dealer where they'd fitted the M Performance grills to the car as part of their "sorry" agreement.
