BMW and M Power Owners

The pro's will be virtually non existent at this mileage for keeping FBMWSH.

I kept FBMWSH right up to 205k miles on my 530i.

Why?

Because it was just easier. The fixed price servicing on the older cars at main dealers is not expensive - its often no more expensive than an indy.

Plus you get a nice courtesy car and don't have to walk to the bus stop on a light industrial estate after dropping your car off.

Sure, but that's the advantage of getting the service done at a main (or just good) dealer, rather than an advantage gained by keeping the FBMWSH.

Car had it's alignment done yesterday on a Hunter. The guy said I won't feel the greatest of changes until I change the tyres. Which will be done this month as all are very badly worn and are currently fighting the correct alignment as they are so bad :(

Boots? As in bushes?

You'll need to do a new alignment when they're changed too really.

My theory is that the more people that know about it, then more likely the price will go up.

So it was a pointless look at me post then.

If you want to keep something to yourself, actually keep it to yourself. Don't brag about it and then clam up when people ask you to share the knowledge.

Pepsilol in attention seeking shocker!

Tripe QX 5w30 ("Meets the requirements of BMW LL04") is the closest to that price that i can think of an oil available in small quantities to the consumer. It comes in at around £3-3.50/litre depending on discount codes and cashback.

Sadly the petrol equivalent is just a vastly more expensive a deal.

Looking at the 335d xDrive M Sport GT. GT model because wife wants a bit more room in the back, plus the deal is insane....

It's a very good diesel engine, though it's still very much a diesel...if that makes sense

Pretty good powerband and as above 6 cylinder so doesn't sound terrible. The GT still looks pretty ungainly though, is the GC anywhere close to the same price? Hatchback so still a bit more useful boot wise than the saloon if the height helps

Unsure what "GC" is :)? The 335i is fair bit more expensive.

335d xDrive GT M Sport, business audio, adaptive suspensive, m sport+ pack, 2 year business lease, 8k miles, £290 a month.

I dont think it looks too bad, could live with it for a couple of years anyway.

Not sure I was in time to bag the deal anyway, they are processing the paperwork. :)
