Ah ok. 50gigs of music wont fit on that I fear. Thankyou.

This discussion about USB ports reminded me to ask - does anyone know roughly what the warranty would cost on a 3 year old F31 318d? It's well under the 60k limit (something like 40k)
Until FOX pointed it out I never quite got what the USB in the glovebox did other than charge stuff.... I agree it would be nice if the SSD could be left in there (and worked) instead of the arm rest.

You can pay about 450ish if you add an excess IIRC.
Am I right in thinking that NBT units have a 200GB hard drive?

I never use the HDD because its just far easier to use large capacity USB sticks - and the functionality through iDrive is identical.
Nearside PDC sensor has gone on the E46, went in the summer and gave the "long beep" to tell you one has gone. Diagnosed which one it was by hearing the "clicking" sound, or lack there of.
Replaced with an eBay jobbie a few months back and, shock horror, it didn't work. Now I've got no system whatsoever.
I've damaged my knee recently and don't fancy sitting under the car until the winter is over, but would like to get this fixed sooner than that anyway. Popped into BMW yesterday and they want £162.00 for one sensor
With labour and parts, what should my target price be, from an Indy say?
Thanks.
So the shocks and mounts have made a massive difference! No where near as twitchy.
I can steel feel the bumps and divots in the road but it's much more solid than before. Just need a decent alignment and I'll be happy
Thanks for the help
The driver side door seal on my e90 is ripped in a few places. it was frosty the other morning and the door was frozen shut.
any thoughts on what the cost would be to fix?
You can just get working used sensors for much cheaper, then just get them sprayed body colour by any body shop for pittance. Fitting them is fairly straight forward DIY too.
Let me guess... The system doesn't even do a long beep anymore and just makes no sound whatsoever? What you have to do is swap one of the middle sensors with the eBay one on the outside and it'll work.
Excellent service provided by Arden. Goinf back on Saturday as a test drive has been arranged for the new 1 series.
