The one and so far only BMW I've ever owned:
1988 BMW 320i SE.
Fully stripped inside with rear cage and door bars, Corbeau seats, 4 point harnesses, Koni shocks and Eibach springs. Apart from that and some uprated pads/discs it was standard.
We bought it for £750, spent another £350 on tyres/brakes and other bits over 2 years and it did 7 track days at Donington and 2 Nurburgring trips including 30 laps. It had 192k on the clock when we sold it (for £800) and everything worked perfectly (even the headlight wash/wipe), granted the paint work was knackered and some trim was missing. Since then it's still going strong and apparently has nearly 215k on it now.
