It was me, and it was 70 euro for 1 hour, its now 75. If you book 3 hours you get it all day (9 till 5).

Careful, the good stuff gets booked very fast, I had to login at midnight or something 30 days before to snag the M5.
 
Evening guys,

Apologies if this is already asked to death...

2010 335i N55 asking for an oil top up this evening.

Picked up some Castrol Edge 0w30 'Titanium FST' which looks to fit the 'Alternative' option under BMW Longlife 04 suggested in the vehicle handbook.

I think 5w30 is the preferred BMW Longlife 01 but the SAE 0w30 viscosity (which this is) is also listed as acceptable.

I know it'll hardly burst in to flames with a slightly different specification oil but just wanted to check I'm not going horribly wrong :) :p

Edit: I do have about 250ml of 5w30 Edge from 2012 which has been in the garage sealed since last use and out of sunlight but I expect this is probably less than ideal to be using?

Just took the 320d in for glow plug change, all went ok bar 1 which had to be left overnight as it had ceased.

Had the inlet manifold gaskets Changed at the same time, and also was going to get the swirl flaps blanked as I had bought the kit. Engine is M47, they said they had already been blanked.

I don't have any proof of this be being done from previous owners could I get this garage to put a note on there saying something like

"swirlflaps blanks were due to be fitted but already found to be fitted"

Just for record?
 
Dad just picked up his new 3 series today and they sent him a personalised "thank you presentation" which was a video of him driving off and the salesman saying thanks. Very weird, a bit cheesy... Is that what all BMW dealers do? I've seen the videos they do when they do inspections but this seems a bit mad!
