Great...a new problem with the car. If i have the window go up using the auto feature it then proceeds to wind itself back down by about two inches. Done it on the passenger side for a little while and now just started doing it on the driver's side. No blockages or anything at the top. Intermittent as always...

Have you tried resetting the windows? They may being trying to go up to far and triggering the anti trap function?

That's what I was thinking. Could you educate a simpleton like myself on how to reset them?

Sorry, should be clear i can find a few methods, not sure which is the correct one or one which doesn't require access to an obd.

I think you have to have the key in position 1, then hold the button to lower the window and keep holding for 20-30 seconds (might not have to be this long) then do the same for raising the window. repeat the procedure for each window.

I found that procedure but given mine doesn't have a key wasn't sure how applicable it is for me!

Might work if you have the ignition on but don't start the engine perhaps? I haven't had a car with keyless so I am not sure, sorry!

Well, tried it.

Seems to have worked! Drivers window is back to closing automatically and neither window popped back down.

Having to part ways with the e65 soon :( Not enough space in the garage to store her and change in circumstance requires a hatch-back (hence the M140i order). She'll be missed!

Perhaps a couple of photos of the passenger side as you only have pictures of one side of the car. Apart from that there's nothing that sticks out.

Yes I plan on taking more/better pics this weekend, just rushed it together from ones I had previously taken.

Is it better overall to take pics of minor marks, or deal with them if/when people come to view? The bolsters are obviously worn, but no more than you'd expect for a 9 year old car. There's a scratch on the passenger mirror aswell, but that's literally it for the whole car.

Pulls like a train? I would get that fixed as it's very broken if it takes 3 minutes to accelerate to 100mph from rest.

I'll take this scathing sarcasm as confirmation that the great Fox has indeed approved my advert :p.

Unless you describe it as "perfect condition, not a mark on it" people will expect a certain amount of wear. Does not mean they wont try and haggle you on price though. Just be firm if you know the car is worth the money!
