Had a quick browse at BMW dealer in Manchester...the M Sport 3 Series' look soo good in Estoril Blue. I was only sitting in them for a very short time as i had stuff to do, but initial impressions, not as nice a place to be as the mercedes' i was looking at yesterday afternoon.. That being said, again, wasn't in there for very long at all so i suppose it doesn't really count 
I've got an E60 LCI with the dreaded CCC (not sure which update it is running). It has the phone professional installation as well as bluetooth. My Google Nexus 5x connects via bluetooth fine and will show incoming phone numbers on the iDrive, but it will not transfer anything else! Under A-Z I do not see my contacts at all, and there is nothing in the history even if someone has just rung.
My Nexus 5x is running Android 7. What do I need to config to do this or is the CCC just poor at its bluetooth setup?

Could someone confirm which brands are OEM quality for e46 parts? Especially for a cooling system refresh - rad, thermostat, expansion tank etc.
Wahler thermostat and Hella rad? Is Circoli any good? EIS?
Answered: Hella = OEM. Some people recommend MTC too, although I think that might only be US.
Vemo = OEM too, apparently.

Behr for thermostat, Hella radiator and expansion tank. Do not touch anything like Meyle in my opinion or worse something without a brand...buy cheap buy twice.
Also having gone through a full cooling system refresh on my E39 and a few other bits I really highly rate FEBI parts, they are normally as good quality wise as OEM but very good value.
Does this look a reasonable deal? It's a pretty boring looking car but seems good value, ignoring the god awful advert. 1 owner from new 330i manual, pro nav, xenons, sport seats, reliable n52 engine. Mot history doesn't show up any horrors.

Im looking for something new as I may have moved on my car, I cant decide what, it simply has to get me from a to b so 2 seats 5 seats does not bother me as long as its fun. I have a few other crazy cars on the list.

Yes it I think this must have been 110k 2 years ago but I assume there must have been 30k plus discount to be had.
Price feels a bit too good to be true in that for me alokg with the annoying ad.
Still, so long as you didn't turn up and it was riddled with rust and different coloured panels it's hard to see how it could be too bad a deal if its in decent condition.
While I'm sure the M6 is epic I think a R8 V10+ is the right choice
That said I really do like to M6, never actually driven one (or a R8) but interior is nice and they look great.
I would imagine the the M6 is signitifcantly cheaper than a R8 V10+ but maybe that's not an issue.
I'm sure there are people on the forum that might have driven a M6 and a R8 V10+ but I would imagine the R8 is in a diffrenet class to the M6, which is pretty obvious as they are very diffrent cars.

Oh right so obviously it doesn't have to 'simply get you from A to B' at all, it has to be a bit more than that. Fancy that!

Funnily enough I was watching the Top Gear episiode where they test an M6, Bentley and GTR (to herd cows) yesterday and Jeremy said the only reason he wouldn't pick the M6 is because the depreciation was far too much for a Yorkshireman
He already said he wanted it to be fun, if he wants to move on from a 911 his idea of fun is unlikely to be a cheap, everyday car. But then you know that already
Well exactly, its just the whole 'Yea I only need it to get from A to B'. Nobody really says that unless they are just buying an old Mondeo or something. It just gives you the impression that his car tastes are so super elite that an M6 is just for getting from A to B for him. Yawn
He clearly wants far more than that. Why not just say it instead of trying to come across like 'Oh well, I guess I might as well just settle for something mundane like an M6'.
