Highly unlikely, Van Alden is known in AC and would be recognized by Nucky/Eli etc immediately. There is also an arrest warrant for him there.

We won't see him again this season, him working for Capone is a set up for next series which will likely be set in 1924 which is when....

Dean O'Banion was killed in real life. I think it will be Van Alden's info that ultimately sets that up.

Here's my predictions for the final episode.

Gyp kills Gillian after she tries to kill him via her usual black widow trick

Harrow kills all of Gyp's men at the whore house but not Rosetti himself.

Capone & Chalky's crew take out an army of Rosetti men (aided by Al's gatling gun thing)

Rothstein phones Masseria to offer him a way to end to war. Kill Gyp and strike a deal with Nucky.

Masseria kills Gyp at the beach by slitting his throat during some speech about how he could have had it all.

Nucky starts shipping to Masseria as well as Rothstein and happily ever after.

Other than Nucky himself (although the real one was called Nucky Johnson not Thompson and was never a gangster) loads my friend, most of the cast almost....
