Just wanted to get a feel for each one before I chose which I would continue through the game with, I guess. Ended up with using Maya and thoroughly enjoying it.

Prefer using shotguns and a shield that does aoe damage when it depletes so I can run in, do damage, phaselock an enemy when shield depletes and kill it to get health back, rinse and repeat. Such a good game, I've lost count of the amount of times it's brought a smile to my face :D

How's the performance for you mate?

Whacked everything up to max, runs beautifully. Couldn't tell you what FPS I'm getting as I'm not running any overlays to tell me, but i've not had any slow down whatsoever, that I've noticed. That's at 1920x1080.
 
So I never played the first game....

Whats the best way to start? Play the single player and get used to the game then move to co-op???

Take it physx is maxed as well?

Why am I getting poor performance with physx disabled then ?

Very frustrating

Standard shooter gameplay wise tbh, I would think if anything it would be easier off in co-op because of the increased difficulty which shows in solo :p

Whichever you prefer most :)

Some will start playing in coop whereas others will play stay solo for a while.


Personally I'll be playing solo for a while (though not by choice)
 
Really enjoying the game so far! Loved the first so I bought the season pass....
Now I got the season pass as soon as it was on steam (with mis-price for £7.99) - when I try to add it I get following error: This item requires you own the base game "Borderlands 2 RU" before it can be added to your library.

I know that no extra content is released yet but I am wondering if this is a mis-price thing. Has anyone bought the Season pass at the correct price and added it to their account yet?

I guess the RU thing is Russia and was the original error and Im gonna need to pursue a refund and repurchase at the proper price through steam........

Played a few hours today. It seems to be More Of The Same, but since the original was badass, that's not a bad thing.
 
I'm delighted that it runs so well on my rig, a lowly 1.6Ghz core2duo and 4870. The first ran fine, so I pre-ordered with confidence even though I'm below minimum spec!

One problem..I've pre-ordered through Amazon, got it, and there's an insert for the 'Premiere Club'. The install instructions just say to install the main game and my bonus content will be downloaded, but Steam gave no indication. The sheet has another code at the bottom of it, which I presume is to validate the Premiere Club, but I've not been asked for it. Any ideas on how I go about activating and installing the pre-order bonus content?

Other than that...a class game, only five minutes in but loving that Borderlands feel once more!
 
Playing as assassin, really good over long distances and multiple enemies from afar, but rubbish against melee enemies and especially bosses.

To be expected I know, just if anyone was in doubt about the character.
 
..Oh, and the 'downloadable content' menu on the title screen doesn't work - it has the graphics for the season pass in the background before an error about enumeration pops up and you have to just click back. I put the code into the Shift registration too, but no joy.

Im the same, but nothing a good shotgun cant fix!
