Borderlands 3

ah well i've started a replay on TVH mode. I found a shotgun that is just ridiculously OP and i cant stop shooting things with it! it shouldn't take too long to go around again!
 
Been playing this with my mate lately & we have been doing the Moxxi DLC. I appear to have all these glitches on my screen https://imgur.com/a/T5Fo2Cf Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same? I only see it on that DLC & only in certain areas, mainly on the floor, All the other games I have been playing don't show anything like this.

Just hoping it isn't a bad gfx card because I've not long had it :/

[edit:- loaded it up just now & that isn't showing this time around?]

I would place my bets with a shader cache issue, the fact it's not happening now.

I saw similar things in another UE game with an overclock applied but that was likely down to the OC being a wee bit unstable (that was with an R9 290X).
 
I like this game, I am sinking much time, but damn it is annoying.

There are SO MANY different weapons, you get those little midgets that have a backpack full of them, but you have NO ROOM to take them all and store them or sell, so mostly just keep been left on the ground.

I've just got a third weapon slot so that's good, 2 were annoying.

Is there any difference between the colors of the weapons? I'm mainly going of, the weapon score, the level and if I like that weapon in a decision if I use it or not.

Performance for this game seems to be on the low side? At least for the quality of the graphics, all as high as can go at 4K/HDR with volumetric at medium and I'm getting around 45fps mostly.

I'm on my first play through and currently only at Level 17. Is there any point in my starting Revenge of the Cartels now, or should I leave it till later or even complete the main story first?

Well, it's a time limited affair, so personally I'd check when it's up and try and level up as much as you can before playing it.

I've completed the first level and thought that was it, but it carries on again.

I don't know whether this is just recurring until the event finishes or there are limited times you can do it.

Looks as though it runs until 4 June so I was thinking about leaving it for a few weeks on the assumption that it would be a waste to play it now and get loads of loot at my current level. Just checking in case that assumption is wrong!
 
Well gearbox broke the game with mayhem 2.0, only two things they right imho is the monarch this gun rocks in bipod mode :D

The cartel map is a lot of fun too, but my rig can barely run the game lol. 2080 super, 5930k down to 30-40 ish fps at times.

With only a 1070 I had to drop to 75% rez to get it to run at 60fps @ 3440x1440p.

Still looks great, and I never think "ugh, it looks ugly".

Might be worth a try for you.
 
Just started playing this and loving it. Keep ending up thinking just a bit more than bed before I know it the time is midnight. Took me a while but found my favourite 3/4 guns and can slaughter anything so far including the big dome suited dudes. Got to level 16, completed Moxxi DLC, doing the Cartel and just got to the Villa. Originally I thought it would be a bit boring but enjoying it with the spaceship going to different planets.

Annoying things for me are you cant use grenades plus your Actions its two actions or one action and a grenade. Fav action being Clone and Droid. Just realised I could select action skills for each. Meant to measure my FPS last night but running DX12 no problem all details on max ultra. Disabled the intro videos to get into it quicker.

Any new codes for golden keys, entered a load before I started and got 25 keys.

Got it running much smoother now.
By right click borderlands 3 in steam, then properties, then set launch options and type in NOTEXTURESTREAMING -USEALLAVAILABLECORES then ok.
Thats on windows 7 and dx11.
