Borderlands 3

Im tempted to pick this up on steam.

There are 3 versions of the game, Standard (£25) Delux (£32.49) and Super Delux (£42.49)

Is it worth buying anything other than standard, Steam is not helpful explaining the differences.

I’m a BL fan and feel let down by this game. I suggest you spend the minimum and play the main game through first.
The DLC will be on sale in the future anyway, so I wouldn’t worry about that.
 
its the best installment of the series for me.
1 was phenomenal but looks dated.
2 just a rehash with repetitive non-organic environments
3 has way more terrain and planets to explore and the most polished of all.
Get the deluxe as DLC content is always worthwhile in borderands.
The general knoxx dlc of original has never been bettered imho.
 
Has anybody else noticed that while the current cartel campaign thingy is active, you get a lot more enemies appearing during side missions and such? For instance I'll be attacking a number of insectoid things and I kill one and there's the signal beacon thing appearing. Then a lot more insectoids come in, labelled as "cartel thug" etc? It's making the missions pretty impossible at the moment as it's easy to get overwhelmed when you kill one and 4 spawn in.

You can turn the cartel on & off in the options as you wish
 
Loving this to death I keep having 30 minute sessions turning into 3 hours. Played the Cartel through 3 times now. I think something went wrong the first time I played it as I was LVL 18 got to the final arena which was like hell on earth (I use clone and shield) but I managed to defeat Joey Ultravoilet and it went weird and loot like all over the place and I went to Level 57 with a crap load of cash ! Just defeated Jack's Tower and if it werent for the fact I have high level weapons now it would have been really hard. Its strange some areas still throw down like $400 weapons most areas are $30000+ weapons and because of this I've got masses of money. Got 5 of my favourite weapons and they deal like between 5000 to 11000 damage. Just been playing on as normal but I have a feeling this isnt normal.

You playing on hard difficulty? I ask as I found this boss very easy, I did already have two gold guns at this point which shredded him pretty easily plus more and gunner robot is fab :D
