Borderlands 4 (2025)

mm story ight be a bit more interesting.
but i agre with you @Noxia it'll most likely be the same mix of game play loop, with some extra

unlikely i'll be able to play it at the moment :/

Interesting trailer, just me or did that seem like a slightly more serious trailer, not as wacky as past Borderlands trailers....taking a more serious slant on Borderlands this time round maybe?

Yeah, I guess it is. It seems to me like Lilith has transported Elpis somewhere and another Frosty siren is trying to stop her doing something. No idea about the robot hand with the bandit mask though.

My thoughts too. TBH, if i didn't know it was Borderlands at points I thought it might be a mass effect trailer.

Not sure if I want my borderlands to be serious, I felt that the universe was crazy and that was the way it was so shifting it would seem weird.

While Borderlands 2 was great fun, I didn't enjoy Borderlands 3. So I'm going to wait for actual reviews.

What did you not like about 3? The story was worse, but I thought the mechanics and gun play were much improved (IMO).

Not normally. I did for BL3.

I really can't put my finger on it. I never completed the campaign but just stopped playing.
Same re 3.

It's why I upgraded my hardware as well as it wasn't running so well on the previous.

Looked better, shooting felt better.

But yeh, stopped playing it also.

Music was MUCH better, ambience of the game also (in 2). And in 2 and Handsome Jack was such a great character.

3 was just a bit "missing".

Fair enough.

Yea handsome jack was awesome. Characters in 3... eh. I will say that BL2 I've played through multiple times, not so much with 3. I'll ignore BL:TPS, I don't talk about that.

Just finished 2 and the Prequel again and I have to agree, 3 definitely has a better feel as far as gameplay is concerned. It seems more refined with quality of life updates over the previous games. Although killing enemies in low gravity in the Prequel is always fun. :D

As for the story, I did prefer Handsome Jack as the villain though. The duo in 3 just don't have the same appeal.
