Borderlands 4 (2025)

I remember the excitement when this was released...

In comparison, the latest trailer...

does nothing... ZERO!! ZILCH!!
TBF, the BL2 trailer was good. The BL3 one was different, and not as good, but still good. To me the trailer starts to feel like a BL trailer at 1m40.

Rewatching it, I just noticed the alien(?) text at the end.

Someone has decoded it, lol.

It says....

"Invader cut me open
I died and that's just the start
Now my knife is redly suddening (??)
She saw right through me and in to you
His hand on your neck
Rip it out from the roots"

Also, in other places in the video....

"It's your turn"

"time kept is brain lost" (??)

And

"You're gonna like what comes with it".

Stop crying everyone, these games are great and will continue to be great.
Loved the first two, Tales from the Borderlands was fun too.

The pre-sequel was meh, it got old fast imo.

Borderlands 3 had solid gameplay but everything else was poor, I never even bothered with the DLC, it felt soulless.

Tales from the Borderlands 2 was absolutely garbage as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not writing 4 off entirely, but I'm hesitant and certainly won't be diving in head first as I have in the past with the series.

I loved all 3 to be honest, I didn't really think too hard about it - just played it with friends, just great fun.

It's very hard to have any idea about 4 to be honest, there's so little footage, so long as it's fun - that'll do for me!

Hopefully it will be better than 3 I never finished it just stopped and never went back.

I loved 2 and pre sequel. i don't quite know why but i couldn't get on with 3, it was not even remotely funny, the two main antagonists were obnoxious, and the whole thing was just very meh.

4 has some work to do for me.

How many have played Tiny Tina? It's one I always forget about and haven't actually bothered to pick up.

I've played a couple of hours of it and keep meaning to go back, never get around to it.

It seems decent from what little I've experienced, a lot like the BL2 DLC focused around her running a pen and paper campaign.

I actually placed it joint top with Borderlands 2 (or is that TPS?). Thoroughly enjoyed it.
BL2 was handsome Jack, TPS was in space and you could play Claptrap. I loved BL2, thought TPS was a bit meh - may just be because of a come down after BL2 TBF. I'll have to pick up TTW at some point, waiting for it to drop below £10 for the complete game #patientgamer

I do actually think I preferred TPS over BL2. I loved the gravity boosting and the Vault Hunters were probably the best squad they've ever had - Wilhelm, Athena, Jack and Aurelia were all brilliant to play. Plus it was really fascinating to see how all the stuff in BL2 came to be.
