**Borderlands Pre Sequel** SHIFT keys in first post!

Haven't played this in weeks. Just have no motivation to do so as i'll just end up farming the legendary rocket launcher for use with the grinder, and there's no fun in that. I miss farming all the bosses in BL2 for their unique legendary :(.

In between missions I jump to all the vendor locations(just the ones you don't have to fight to get to them) via fast travel. As the vending machines recycle every 20 minutes, it's quite easy to do. As some of these Legendaries can be quite expensive, you need plenty of money. I got into the habit with BL1&2, of picking up everything and selling. I only keep about 6-7 weapons/items in my backpack.

Cheers, I found two legendary grenades in vending machines last night. Also found my first proper legendary smg, so I went from zero to three legendaries in one go! Just in time for the final boss fight, which was great timing.

Now TVHM or a different character, I'm torn. Really want to check out Nisha but just starting to have fun with Athena's ceraunic storm.

Nice one.:D
I played Athena with the emphasis on melee and a couple of good shotguns. Having fun with Nisha, just got a few side missions to do, then it's TVHM. So, I'll have 2 characters maxed out and ready for the level upgrade, whenever that is.:)

Best shock laser is the Thorny 'o Rosie, if you can get it. If not, a Miss Moxxi's Vibra Pulse, level 50.

Best laser in general is the Rosie. Already got a level 50 but fire based. I've got a shock shotgun now which will do and a minigun if needs be :)

Probably just leave this now until the baroness gets released.

What’s the story with the map? In BL2 it was clouded out until you discovered each area, I thought this was the same but I can see all of the areas on the maps but apparently have not discovered all the areas because I haven’t got any of the achievements. How are you supposed to know where you need to find? Have they changed the system from BL2?

You didn't play in co-op with someone who had uncovered the maps did you? Might cause your maps to show everything but you may not have 'discovered' every location?

Right now I'm struggling with Round 5 of the DAHL training ground on Normal mode. I'm level 15 and it's spawing 16/17/18's. Fighting the enemies is easy but I keep downing myself with my new shield, usually when there are no enemies nearby! :(

(FYI I'm using The Cradle, hilarious but deadly! :D)

It's been changed and now can all be uncovered but you might not have actuially discovered all the locations. Took me a few hours of running to every area of every map to get the cheevs . I dont know why they can't list the areas you have found so that you can then work out what you have missed.

Theres a good guide on steam that highlights the areas and there are a couple of secret areas you might have missed.

Nope, no co-op with anyone yet. BL2 map system was better. how are you supposed to know where you missed? Why on earth did they change it, it was fine.

That Cradle is brilliant but deadly. Once them IED's start dropping, you have to get the hell out of there.

Started the Doppelganger the other day, level 15 atm. It's not bad actually, think I'll finish normal mode and then go back to Nisha, get her up to level 50. I don't have the Dahl training ground, did'nt come with my copy.

The IED's you must be thinking about the WTF Shield perhaps?

This one is less deadly (No IED's) but still funny! :D

It's this one: http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/The_Cradle

What's not doing it for you? :(

It doesn't make the best first impression and does somewhat rely on your knowledge of previous games to get the most out of it however.

think he jumped from b4 to borderlands and expected a similar experience?
i did the same a while back, went from battlefield to borderland and hated it!

but then i got fed up of battlefield and wanted to try a different game, so went back to it and stuck with it, and now i enjoy it
