Borderlands

Just had an amazing coop session! We were doing the one where you find the mine key or whatever, well anyway there were some serious beats we fought. Loads of BADASSES! Was so difficult, spent many thousands respawning :p

I don't know how i would have done by myslef, i gues it would have been easier to defeat the beats i don't know.

Also i have done nothing with ports, however not too long ago i opened up some ports for bf2, so if i show you the link to the ports i opened then everyon should be able to join some coop action!

edit- http://www.portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/Battlefield_2/Battlefield_2index.htm choose the router you have and follow it step by step and you should have fully sunctioning coop.

When you coop the enemy levels and weapons are increased significantly. I have done a few areas in coop AND in SP...the enemies are so so different between the two. I find coop much more difficult than SP. Of course it doesnt help when you have four people all trying to do quests on their own, but with the levelled up bad guys :rolleyes:

Haven't had any problems with connectivity, hope the people who do manage to get it sorted!
 
Is it me, or are shotguns almost totally useless? Obviously the range is a limitation, but I'd expect that to be made up by having devestating close-range ability. But it doesn't. I've found a handful of pistols which are much more useful at close range.

yup shottys are completely pointles. They are pretty rubbish in most games. Only games the shotty is good on is css and tf2 imo.
 
Its getting somewhat expensive dying now, im lvl 34 hunter and last 3 times ive died its cost me 1 millon each time :( , last time i died had no chance for the 2nd wind as i had just killed the last mob when his nade went off at my feet.

I almost exclusively use my shotgun, some double barrelled 1,000 damage a hit jobby, and I'm a hunter :confused: No elemental damage or anything fancy, just good old fashioned lead :D

It kills practically everything (I'm level 15 now I think, I've had it for about 6 levels) in one hit. I use my sniper rifle for range and when they close they get a face full of shotgun. Works a treat.

I'm lvl 37 and the most it's cost me when ding is 88k.

Not even close to mill!

Anyone remember the name of this boss? I hid behind that chain link fence while he threw grenades at me.. in the end I only had pistol ammo so had to finish him off with that.

I think it had psycho in its name.

A little. I think strategy is important, as is your aim. I had to crit him about 50 times (headshot) to even get him at half HP. They have little companions aswell which can be annoying. As long as you have good enough guns/shield, etc. and they aren't 5+ levels ahead of you, they are killable.

Cant see how it would cost 1 mill . You wouldnt have that much cash at that level and im the same lvl and it cost between 30 and 50k
